Excellent value for it's money. Lovely room with coffee machine, kettle and washing machine. Really nice stuff. They are located in the city centre but still have their own parking.
The area where the hotel is located is not fancy, but it's 7 min to walk to the old city, 3 min to bus station and train station. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel in the ideal location for getting around on foot. Breakfast was fabulous and the choice was huge. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Loved Riga. Top tip. Use the Bolt app to book taxis (the equivalent of Uber). Was super cheap to get to and from the airport this way.. Would definitely stay at The Grand Poet again. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay.

Amazing location, really good value, friendly staff, good breakfast. the half pension deal is worth it if you want to avoid going out at night in the cold, and it is actually quite cheap considering the prices of the restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel.

The location was perfect for the purpose of our visit. It is very close to the city centre, quiet at the same time. Safe area as well. Loads of transport is available, if you need it. But it is a short walk to most of restaurants, cafes and Old Riga. The host, Nataly, was very helpful and lovely. If you need any advice, she will give it to you, no problem. The flat was spotless, very clean and warm, with all gadgets you might need. Great stay.
