Great city if you love parks , greenery and open spaces.. There are also museums, castles for those who like that. Despite peak season, we were wondering where all the people in the city are as it never seems over-crowded. Things do start late here ! 10am seems the time where activity starts and some coffee shops do not open till 10am or later. Very relaxing and people never seem to rush . Great if you want to slow down your pace in life.

I only spent two days in Vilnius, as my main goal was to see whether it could be a good destination for a future workation.
Of course, the city immediately stands out because of its beautiful historic old town, but I was even more interested in getting a feel for everyday life. Two days are not enough for that, but I still came away with a very positive impression. I especially enjoyed the contrast between the charming Old Town and the more modern areas beyond it.
Unfortunately, my visit coincided with a public holiday, so the city was quieter than usual. I think I would need to return on a regular weekday to experience its true rhythm. From what I saw, Vilnius felt young, open, and curious—an atmosphere I really liked. I can definitely imagine coming back.

Vilnius is a beautiful city, so vibrant, prosperous & drenched in a rich historical prespective embedded in ' Occupation by Russia & freedom'. Brilliant museum & art galleries to visit, for example, the Mo Art Gallery, striking building with a creative design. I would recommend the 'old town tour' with free snacks, excellent experience. Also, the Jewish Tour, a moving, powerful & inspirational. Spent some time visiting the old prison that has retained its historical features/design & is now a very creative art space.
The old town is so beautiful, amazing, such wonderful place, so safe. The river is beyond fabulous & I loved Cathedral Square & the Bell Tower. A hidden gem of a city that is outstanding.

The historic city is very pleasant for sightseeing on foot. The food, drink and shopping are all excellent.
The KGB museum is very sobering - well curated and much historic information on what the people experienced (torture, prison, death) at the hands of the Soviets. Very meaningful memorials to the courageous resistance.

Vilnius is a nice city which in my opinion is safe, affordable and walkable. Public transport is efficient and easy to navigate. A must visit is the palace, Bernardine Garden and the Cathedral. There are many restaurants in the city centre. It is relatively calm and the temperature is cool and fresh in summer.

Vilnius is easily one of Europe's most underrated capital cities. It has a very cool vibe, blending the stunning historic charm of its Baroque Old Town with the fascinating, artistic atmosphere of the bohemian Užupis district.It is an exceptionally safe, peaceful, and clean city that is highly walkable and easy to navigate. There are loads of cool bars to discover, offering fantastic food and great local beer at excellent value compared to other European capitals. Plus, the younger population speaks impeccable English, so there is absolutely no language barrier. It is a perfect, crowd-free destination that I highly recommend to any traveler!

was staying in that hotel for four days weekend.
It was pretty clean, the room was also big enough.
I think it has a lot rooms for quests because it seems very vast.
For breakfast, there is a big choice of various food and even it is possible to taste some Lithuanian dishes (chews, crepes with cheese).
The hotel is located in the new part of Vilnius, but not so far from the Old Town (about 30 minutes walking distance by foot).
With the 3g bus line, the airport is located about 25 minutes of the drive.

The hotel is very cosy and there were tens of gorgeous Finnish design Secto-lamps all over which made it even more attractive. Breakfast was very rich with both salty and sweet delicasies and the best part were the local cheesies. We got our room uppgraded even though we did not ask for it. The location of the hotel was also very nice, distance to old town was short and the big shopping centers were on walking distance. I would very much like to back to this hotel when visiting Vilnius again some time.

1-Even If the hotel's location is 15-25min walking away from the heart of the center (old town), is in excellent location to river, park and literally 1 step away from Shopping Mall. Which was awesome.
2-The Jacuzzi in the Wellness,Spa was excellent after a long tiring day to relax in it.
3-In breakfast to find traditional food was really good.

3 min walking distance from the rail and bus station. All the local buses close by. Easy walk to the old town. Hotel is a bit outdsted but room was clean. Bathroom clean, sheets and towels clean and well maintained. Breakfast was ok, coffee good. Overall if you are looking for a short stay close to airport as well as train station and bus terminal this is excellent.

This charming hotel in the city center offers quite good breakfasts. It's conveniently located for walking to key attractions and exploring the old town.
