The old city is renovated and invested.
There is something to see and where to go for a tourist.
All in all, the city is developing very nicely.
The problem is that everything is getting very expensive

The tours of Old Town and Jewish quarters was good however not all appropriate for mobility issues as steep areas to attractions. Would need to do lots more research before planning to visit as very expensive. People very friendly, food great choices, shops plenty if prepared to travel to malls. Travel light as airline doesn't send your luggage with you. Cafe London and can can good eateries. Plenty of public and private transport but you need to read or speak the language for best experience. Wouldn't avoid anywhere in vilinus it's so much to offer. But pick wisely your accommodation.

Supportive, helpful staff speaking both Lithuanian and English languages. I particularly liked when staff engaged in speaking Lithuanian with me even though my Lithuanian language skills are far from perfect. I am born Canadian and do not have many opportunities to use my mother’s language ( Lithuanian).

Great city to visit: beautiful architecture, clean, relaxing, friendly people, nice restaurants (local cuisine and international). A nice place to walk (in particular the river walk. Nearby areas to visit (like Trakai). Also, the farmers market area is a must visit where one can get fruits and everything else.
Exceptional Service of Concierge & Front Desk. The concierge guy (forgot his name) on the night of check-in 21st Jul was extremely helpful. Superb service by him. Everyone at the hotel was exceptional service. Rooms are a bit small given that it's in the old town city centre but loved the hotel and decor. Parking is an issue but was manageable. Facilities were good. Nice indoor pool, steam, sauna.
Great location in the very center of the old town, at the Gate of Dawn. The hotel may not be very comfortable, but the fact that it is located in the buildings of a former male monastery compensates for everything. Staying in the old building where the wall thickness is about 1m, makes a phenomenal impression. It's worth stopping by at least once.
This hotel is in an excellent location, right in the Centre of old town, the best area to stay when visiting Vilnius. Cleaning staff were great, we left our room late some days & our room was always cleaned. We didn’t expect this & it wouldn’t be done in most hotels later in the day. The hotel is in a quiet area, which is great for sleeping.
We stayed over night so we wouldn't need to travel on the day of flight. We took public bus to the city centre on the eve and had breakfast at a reasonable price in the hotel. We walked to airport in 5min to catch out flight.
