Stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed my stay - this was one of the more affordable ones in this area. Room was clean, heaters were working. Booking came with buffet breakfast and dinner which I wasn’t expecting. Breakfast is standard - a small salad bar with ham and cheese, eggs, bacon/sausage and a small selection of cereals and pastries. Dinner varies slightly, a salad bar, soup, a protein, a carb (potato/rice),veg and dessert. Although the selection wasn’t extensive, it was sufficient and food was tasty (short of the pancakes that tasted microwaved). Service was very friendly, from the staff at the counter to those serving and cleaning up at meals. When I told the young gentleman at the counter on the first day that the soap dispenser in my room was empty, he very apologetically went himself at once to top it up. They also do have the cutest boys staffing the counter. Stayed here to ski at yllas. The ski shuttle bus pick up (as with the airport shuttle) drops off at eelin kauppa which is a short easy 5min walk away. Unfortunately the ski shuttle isn’t frequent - once every 3 hours - but it does time with resort opening, lesson hours etc, and was reliable in the week I used it. Twice the bus left the stop earlier than schedule (once a good 8mins before) so I always made sure I was early I didn’t book any of the safartica winter activities but I saw small groups going and looked convenient enough to arrange and get picked up. They have a program book and each activity (eg husky, reindeer sledding, snowshoeing etc) starting at 100-200 euros.

Very nice hotel. Right at the bottom of the ski slopes (ski in). Ski rental within the hotel, as well as ski depot. For the family of four room could have been bit bigger, but staff tried their best to provide us with necessities. Staff was extremely friendly (receptionists, houskeeping and the restaurant as well), very accommodating (went out of their way to help us during our packing before the departure). Indoor pool with hot tubs was great for relaxation after the day on the slopes. We used the restaurant every day during the breakfast buffet, as wrll as dinner one. Food was of good quality and tasty, but variety could be maybe bit better. Overall enjoyable experience, recommendation for those deciding on skiing within the polar circle.

The cottage is nice and very close (5~6 min by car) to ski resort. They have prepared 5 beds including sheets and duvet before we arrived. In the morning we saw sun rise of mountain from window of one of our bedroom. Also two bedrooms are very comfortable for accommodation for us 3 adults and two kids, even we didn't use the loft. Only pity we just stay for weekend and kids need go back to school on Monday.

Everything was perfect ! The location is near to the forest so you can quickly go to see the northern lights, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a huge buffet, If you don’t wanna go out for lunch and dinner, the kitchen is pretty good too !

We’ve had an amazing week in Simon’s cottage! The location and the cottage were perfect. Simon always replies very quick and is happy to help out with everything. The sauna is amazing after a cold day in the snow. I can’t wait to go back some day!

Everything was perfect! The accommodation was fully equipped: sauna, fireplace, firewood, washing machine, dishwasher, and a clothes dryer! Everything is well explained! Sleds are also available at the reception! We had an excellent stay!

Quiet, excellent location. Wonderful nature around & close to cross-country skiing routes. We could watch the northern lights from outside the house. Sauna small but functional. Wood for the fire-place ready in storage.

Very good location, close to trails and ski tracks, few minutes drive to shop. Warm apartment, wonderful sauna. Parking right next to apartment. Basic accomodation, but with almost everything we needed for our stay.

We stay here each year and it’s always fabulous! Bedding and linen included in the price . Always spotlessly clean. Easy check in and out . Fantastic as always

Central location. Near supermarket, restaurants and cafes. Easy to rent bike and sports equipment nearby. Comfortable acomodations. Very friendly host.

Family run hotel , make you feel really welcome - very friendly. Home made baking at breakfast was lovely .
