Very nice place to spend some days, good Communication at the reception, clean rooms and very comfortable, breakfast included, a lot of varieties. Clean pool and gym.

Pierre welcomed us upon arrival & immediately took care of a our needs. Being outside Calvi proper made for a quiet & idyllic stay. Pierre suggested 3 must do's in Calvi, showing detailed directions on a map. With his suggestions, we felt we got to know Calvi from an indie perspective. The breakfast was very, very good.

The size of the town and its citadel. The look and feel of the place with its fantastic beaches of white sand and turquoise waters and the passerelle between the sea and the forest . Ease of accessibility on foot, by train to Ile Rousse and the beautiful beaches en route, proximity by boat or by organised excursions to discover spectacular landscapes around and over Calvi. I absolutely loved the place and will be back.

Corsican village with restaurants and a few bars, all for a trekking and travelling kind of tourist. Nothing too fancy, but great quality. The area is beautiful and offers endless hikes in the mountains, the forest or the valley.

Algajola is a very pretty town with a small church and bastion. The beach is beautiful and the water crystal clear and safe bathing for young children. People snorkelled there around the rocks but I just swam. It has plenty of restaurants with friendly people, some with sea views. Watching and listening to the polyphonic trio in the church was one of my highlights. Also listened and danced to a very good band on a Saturday night.
The trains are regular and Algajola is situated perfectly in the middle to visit L'ille-Rousse and Calvi plus all the perfect little secret beaches.

Feliceto is a typical sleepy Corsican mountain village surrounded by spectacular scenery. There is not an enormous choice of restaurants (4 to my knowledge) but something to please most everybody between pizza and true gastronomy. The location is great ... Calvi is just a 20 minute drive away with all the tourist facilities you could wish for as are numerous villages of character and charm.

Loved having a day to tour the villages of Balagne.
Restaurants are excellent. We enjoyed salads at Il Resto.
Wish we had had a full day for hiking a trail to lighthouse & beyond.

Calvi’s an ideal place to just hang out, cafe and resto hop, go to the beach or walk the lovely lanes. It’s also an excellent base to have a rental car to venture further out across the mountains and along the coast, each with their own dramatic and wild and rugged landscapes. Plan your time however, the distances may look short, but the roads will in a lot of cases halve your kmph.

Lovely beach, the resort has plenty of bars, restaurants, hotels and self catering, plus a few useful shops including a SPAR supermarket and independent bakery. It is a great base to explore the coastal region from Calvi to St Florent, or into the mountains up to Corte.
