The staff was very responsible and generous. My room was so perfect! Bed so comfortable. The towels, the linen, the decor, everything. Just a little warm at the beginning in my room, but everything was taking care of.

Shuttle from and back to the airport with Mrs. Mabrouka was very welcoming and fun. Staff was wonderful, bed was very confortable, towels super clean. All of all is highly recommended.

I was very surprised by the service the owner provided during my short trip. He was very punctual with his shuttle service, had good recommendations for eating nearby, and provided a wonderful breakfast buffet. Very much worth the price of this little airport gem.

Just needed to stay the one night to be at the airport for early flight.
Warm and sunny so sat outside the evening before at the sister Hotel Ibis pool and enjoyed a lovely dinner there too.
No restaurant/pool at the Ibis Budget but this sister hotel is just next door.
Rooms basic, clean and comfortable and staff were fun and friendly.
Ideal for early am flight. Would definitely recommend for this purpose.

It was an experiment for us to join our cruise in Marseille using air travel. We stayed in Vitrolles due to late flight time, We now know that we could have taken a shuttle from the airport to Marseille Station which would have suited our plans much better.

It's a very nice, small town on the outskirts of Marseille.
It's a very nice, small town on the outskirts of Marseille. 15 minutes by taxi from Marseille airport (uber charged me 15-16 EUR, normal taxi charged my colleague 20 EUR and special hotel taxi would cost you about EUR 30).
The town has small shops, boulangerie (bakery), pizza outltets, etc.

This was an ideal hotel for staying overnight when using the airport. Room was adequate size for short stay, bathroom and shower good, bed very comfortable. No drinks in the room but a good machine downstairs. Staff very helpful and efficient. Brilliant free shuttle service to airport which was about 5 minutes drive away. Quiet, tidy location with some facilities within a 5 minute walk including excellent bakery open till late, convenience shop, a couple of restaurants and a supemarket. Would definitely stay again if using Marseille airport. Added bonus was the aviation museum with outdoor exhibits of planes and helicopters in trees!

Small town with nothing.
Small town with nothing. In the city center, we ended up in an area where Arab men sat in every cafe and drank coffee in the middle of the working day. We did not see women in this area. It was very disturbing.

I chose an accommodation close to the airport because it had a transfer to the airport included with breakfast. However, nothing can be higher than the gentleman at the reception whose name I could not remember because I was very stressed due to the loss of a luggage on the way to the accommodation. Good value, restaurant and bar. About a 15 minute walk to airport; important for very early flights. Nice helpful staff . A friend of ours went to check in next door at the blue IBIS, cancelled and walked over here and was pleased for a little more money. I did not explore the area or use the pool as I had an early morning flight.

We enjoyed staying at two Holiday Inn Expresses to stay close to the airport and one staying close to the St. Charles Train Station in Marseille. They were both well operated, and good for business and travelers. The St. Charles location could easily be a good location to get around Marseille.
I am afraid I do not recommend the town which has trash issues. We did not find this anywhere else in France. The rail station had minimal seating, lots of trash all over the place and on the train lines. If you have to travel through Marseille, stay at the Holiday Inn Express
