This DoubleTree by Hilton is set a 7-minute walk from Edinburgh Airport. It boasts a sauna, a gym and a fine restaurant. Almost everything was perfect. It was so quiet and the blackout curtains were excellent. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was just as I like it. The breakfast was good; lots of choice, although the coffee from the machine wasn't hot enough. If I could complain about anything at all, it would be that the hairdryer cable wasn't long enough for the mirror outside the bathroom door. I couldn't find the shuttle bus and instead of searching up and down the airport, I decided to walk. No big deal; it wasn't far and certainly not the hotel's fault. The airport is poorly signposted.

Lovely food and staff were exceptional - nothing was too much trouble Hotel in lovely grounds outside Edinburgh but tram into town and park and Ride were a good way to explore the City Centre Rooms were well appointed
