A recently renovated guest house, Herrislea House Hotel offers accommodation in Tingwall. This guest house provides free private parking, luggage storage space and free WiFi. The staff are friendly and helpful, everything was clean and tidy, the location is only 10 mins driving away from Lerwick, the bed was very comfortable, the room was never cold and the shower was great - we loved the scent of the toiletries provided.

Set in Tingwall, The Westings offers a bar. The hotel offers both free WiFi and free private parking. The units in the hotel are fitted with a flat-screen TV. David and Tom own the hotel and went over and above to make sure our stay was great.

Set in Scalloway, Scalloway Caravan Park features accommodation with seating area. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the campground free of charge. This place is the best value accommodation in Shetland. I have no idea why the previous reviews are so poor. We are locals who had to have a stay over for a medical appointment, and the cabin is exactly what it looks like in the photos. There is no bedding- a fact that is made clear on the booking.com website and in the email we received from the park directly. A previous poster criticised there being no kettle. There is a kettle, located in the kitchenette area. There is no accommodation for 5 people available on Shetland at this price, so what you see is what you get. If you are after something 4 *, go and stay in the Lerwick Hotel for £300+ a night.

Situated in Lerwick, Shetland's main town, the Shetland Hotel provides an ideal base for all your requirements. Room was very comfortable and the staff at reception and in the restaurant and bar were incredibly nice and helpful.

Bayview Self-Catering, Lerwick is situated in Lerwick. The property has garden and city views. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Bain's Beach is 1.7 km away. Very light, full of character and well appointed. Would have comfortably accommodated many more than our group of four.

Easterhoull Chalets is set in Scalloway. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the chalet free of charge. Outdoor seating is also available at Easterhoull Chalets. The chalet is located beautifully on a hill with a nice view to Scalloway. The interior of the chalet is very cosy and ideal for a couple. Easy access to Coop in Lerwick where you get everything for self-catering.
