We were impressed with the location and how quiet it was. We didn’t really utilise the facilities as we only really used the room to sleep while visiting our son and fiancée but we were very happy with the property and communication.
The other guests staying were respectful too

The location was good, nice calm street to unload and load our luggage. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated with some very comfortable bedding which made our rest wholesome. The amenities were great, we had access to a washing machine, hob and oven. Definitely felt at home. The hosts responded quickly and were extremely friendly. The bathroom and shower were great, full force hot showers was the icing on the cake!

Eastleigh is nice for an evening walk.
Eastleigh is nice for an evening walk. We used the property as a starting point to travel to nearby locations by train (train station opposite of the property) or by car with friends (car park next to the train station). One stop from the airport; no noise from air traffic at all.

Did not go for sightseeing as going on a cruise next day. I did not like the long wait for a taxi that I rang up for earlier, he said 20 mins , but it was closer to40 mins; a long wait with Himalayas taxi to pick me up from coach station, I was cold by the time the taxi arrived.

It’s the first time we’ve been to Botley and we thought it was a lovely little village. We would definitely visit there again, especially in the summer. We couldn’t really find anything we didn’t like about it. Otters green was only a five minute walk away

Situated on a very busy noisy road, but perfect if you are wanting to stay close to Warsash & Hamble.
Would definitely recommend having a car although buses run every half hour into Southampton. Also train nearby.
Excellent coffee shop called the ‘Boathouse’ in the Marina.

Small sleepy village with fantastic views of the estuary and the big ships sailing in and out of Southamton Docks.
Easy access to the New Forest.
We went for an evening meal at "The High Street Kitchen" Lymington

Eastleigh is an area with beautiful quaint English towns and villages to visit.
There are numerous small shops/businesses and plenty restaurants and cafes to enjoy.
It is also the perfect location for visiting Southampton ad the New Hampshire Forest.

Buses very regular around a 3 mile radius of the City Centre. Great watching ships and Red Funnel is very welcoming for those wanting to visit the Isle of Wight.
Lots if history if you are prepared to explore and seek it out.

In a nutshell, Otters Green was one of the best b & b's we have stayed in. A comfortable and cosy room, with everything we needed. We could not fault it in any way. The breakfast was tasty and varied, much more than we expected for a continental breakfast. We would recommend the Dolphin pub in Botley for a warm welcome and excellent food.

There was a pub called the Old Ship next door to where we were staying which had a great selection of food and drink, there were several places to eat and drink within walking distance. Harper's ( breakfast - two full English for £16) the Jolly Sailor and the Seahorse. There is a lovely walk along the river to Riverside social which was a nice place to eat . We walked up to the Brick museum which was an interesting morning, £7 each ( or £8 each with a charity donation)

We were disappointed that the pier ferry wasn't working but the pier and the train were very interesting - lots of plaques on the pier with interesting information and lots of inscriptions on the planks on the pier.
The town was very nice - a surprising number of different shops in such a small area.
The town centre and pier within very easy walking distance from the Boathouse hotel. Good meals served there with a good selection at reasonable prices.
