Beach near the village centre dominated by water sports but extensive walks either way up or down the coast are beautiful. The coast line is easy to navigate here so the walks are less taxing, lovely after a few days of more rigorous hill walking. A perfect chill out location. Warning: chippy shuts at 8.
The room was badly designed with twin beds a very very long way apart The carpet on stairs and way in was old and needs replacing Far to many stairs and corridors for people in there 70s We asked for another room but was told they did not have any ground floor In all the hotels I have been to I have never ever had a room like that Does anyone ever check these rooms?
Beautiful scenery and quiet location. It is right in the centre of the island so a great base in which to explore the whole of the island. Recommend South Stack Lighthouse, Newborough Forest and Beach and Cemlyn Nature reserve.
We traveled round harbours went to see castles Had great time just sitting in the garden or conservatory ,try Enochs fish and chips they where really something the wine and beer flowed and laughter filled the air,oh we found a bra behind the lounge curtain mmmm, poppy made herself at home on the huge doggy bed,all in all it was a great week away x
Plenty of public footpaths for walking, not far from Newburgh forest and the coastal walks. Sandy Mount is my favorite local restaurant to visit, great food and cocktails on offer. Bit more expensive than others but nice surroundings. Another favorite is the Oyster Catcher the down stairs bar is informal great for dropping in after a long walk.
Ideal location for local shops and beaches room was a nice size walk in shower would have been nice but the bath was nice to have after a day at the beach.Staff we’re extremely polite and happy to be able to help.
