My wife and I travelled around Ghana from Spain 🇪🇸 and I must say RHOGEM was one of the best hotels we stayed per the price. Many thanks to FRANCIS OWUSU HANSEN the exceptional hotel manager who made us feel at home and exhibited great customer care. We booked a night but ended up staying for 3 nights. Breakfast was great and location is very quiet. Room service was fantastic. Many thanks to Hansen and his team. We will be back.

The space was huge. Towels were good, clean, all the facilities were modern. Everything was good.

Everything was on point. The Host was very pleasant and accommodating, the apartment was surprisingly hugh, clean, decor tastefully done very modern. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Quiet neighborhood serene environment Breakfast was simple and nice. I traveled with my family and the children had lots to entertain them. There was a swing set and ping pong table for them to play. Which they did. Swing needs updating but it was fine. Overall I would highly recommend for a small family vacation.

Great breakfast, REAL coffee in French Press and delicious cuisine in general, especially fresh fish with banku.
In general, I have visited many resorts in the close Busua area (as well as many other resorts in Ghana), but Afro Beach is genuinely something completely different. It is a unique combination of place (calm, quiet, untouched), housing (new and done thoughtfully with a passion), and personal (especially the owner - Francis - who is one of the most interesting people I have met). His motto (that he wants people to be happy) is not just a phrase. He can provide anything you want, also walking with you to a party in Busua or to Butre and so on and so forth.
So, don't hesitate to visit Afro Beach; even Francis' story and personality are entirely worthy of doing so.

Takoradi is currently undergoing road works.
Takoradi is currently undergoing road works. No doubt once all road works are completed it will mean shorter driving time getting out of town and heading towards Axim.
I would recommend a visit to the Bisa Aberewa Museum, close to the Effia Nkwanta Hospital. The museum is five years old, a fount of knowledge and well equipped with Pan African history. A must visit for all visitors to Takoradi

Very nice apartment with well equipped kitchen. Location is beautiful and close to main street and city center, airport and the mall.
We appreciate the cleanness, the staff specifically Thiophilus and Richard who were always taking care of us.
Sure will stay here again if we visit Takoradi again in the future.
A lovely hotel worth the price and very exceptional!
Definitely where I will stay anytime I go to Takoradi.
