This is thé Flores home experience! Very friendly, inviting and welcoming family. Irwan helps out planning your stay and can arrange everything for you. Ernesta is a great cook and dancer, and their 2 kids are a joy! We visited the “hobbit cave”, the Ramenese lake and did the flyingfox zipline and the traditional market at Ruteng. And to top it all off we where invited to a local wedding party 🥳!! How special is that! We loved staying with this beautiful family.

The hotel is reall nice with a small lake in the middle, The room are spacious and well-equiped (hair dryer, tv with netflix) and the Wi-Fi is nice. There is also a restaurant where you eat really well for 200.000Idr The breakfast is a buffet with some indonesian food, tea and coffee. You can also ask for pancakes, omelets or scramble eggs.

We stayed 2 nights in Wisma Po'ong and we loved it ! The room is clean and quiet big, the place is very peaceful, outside of city center. But the best about Wisma Po'ong is the hosts ! Carolina and Peter made us feel at home all our stay long, they helped us renting a scooter, picked us up at the bus station, invited us to a very cool open mic outdoor concert... We really enjoyed Ruteng and its good vibes. We warmly recomend to stay in this homestay, hold by wonderful people !

Everyone very helpful, room okay. Stayed 2 nights,first night single bed little uncomfortable, second night upgraded double bed nice bed and own toilet not share. Lot better. Food very nice, will do dinner for you, breakfast good. Bike parking under cover.

We stayed two nights with Peter and his family and we miss it already! It was the best homestay we stayed at in Flores!! We felt soo welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. The room was nice and Had everything we needed. We joined a wedding and a ceremony which was soo nice to experience! We also had a walk to the ricefields. We really enjoyed the area as its in a quiet area of ruteng. We can highly recommend staying here and we will be back for sure. Thanks for everything:)

- Hotel owner really helped us out prior to travelling to Flores and arranged for overland transfers from Labuan Bajo to Ruteng and then from Ruteng to Bajawa. Both drivers had good English and were reasonably priced. Thank you very much to Dolvi (staff at Ara) for driving us and being so patient with the construction on the way and driving us to dinner that evening. - Large, spacious and clean room. - Beautiful surrounding gardens. The properties back on to a bamboo forest and river. - Simple and nice breakfast. We were served fresh avocado which came from the tree on-site. - Recommend to visit the spider web rice fields which are close by.
