The best part of the stay was definitely the staff, Monica to be more precise. She made us feel so welcome. The sheets were clean and smelled well, warm water, beautiful sea views and goof air conditioning and the breakfast was great. We wanted to rent a bike and the staff in 20 min arranged us a great bike and also a driver to bring us to the airport. Thank you again Monica and the other girls for our amazing stay.

I arrived very late due to heavy rain and was welcomed by this amazing community who helped me with so many personal things such as organisation of my trip, Oan was so kind to drive me to pick-up my luggage at another place, they called a nurse to treat my foot that was injured a little bit from a hike. It is a lovely community with a very interesting museum of Sumba's history and culture on the campus.

Mereäärne Oro Beach Houses on Weetebulas paiknev kolmetärnihotell. Kohapeal on erarand, aed ja privaatne parkla. Hommikusöögiga majutusasutusel on privaatne sissepääs. It's simply a gem in the middle of the nature, facing the ocean with a beautiful beach. They build some chairs made of tree branches overlooking the ocean, where you can sit and sip a cup of tea while watching the sunset... The rooms are so nice with the round shape and all the colors, and taking a shower with the morning sun rays (or while watching the stars) is another nice plus... And maybe they hide an Italian chef somewhere in the kitchen, because I had the best pasta of the last 5 months 😄 Can't recommend Oro Beach Houses enough and I hope that I can come back one day... Thank you so much for having created this magical place with so much soul and charm 🙏

Välibasseini, spordikeskuse, aia ja restoraniga hotell Sima Sumba asub Tambolaka linnas. Selles neljatärnihotellis on baar. Staff, rooms were good, plenty to choose from for breakfast.

Waikelos asuval majutusasutusel Maringi Sumba by Sumba Hospitality Foundation on tasuta jalgrattad, välibassein, aed ja terrass. We loved everything about the property and especially the students and team that are learning and working there. What an inspiring place to stay during our honeymoon! We were moved to tears when our stay was over because it was such a special experience!

Mario Hotel and Cafe asub Weetebulas, Mananga Aba rannast 1,3 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja restoran. Külalistele pakutakse lennujaamatransporti ja autorenti. The place was amazing. You have everything you need for peacefull stay at Sumba. Clean rooms, nice pool, beach and also food from restaurant was pretty good. Och, and staff was very nice :)

RedDoorz at Tanakatto Homestay Waikabubak asub Waikabubakis. Selles ühetärnihotellis on konditsioneeri, privaatse vannitoa ja tasuta WiFi-ühendusega toad. Tubades on lameekraaniga televiisor. Tia & her husband who run the guesthouse are delightful and so so helpful. It’s a struggle to rent motorbikes so don’t just turn up thinking you can wizz off & explore.. they searched for a friend who was willing to rent one and I was so grateful. They also gave me so much help like running me to the ATM when my card didn’t work in the one close by, offering to make a packed lunch for my day exploring, giving me their WhatsApp in case I ran into any trouble. It became a home away from home & I can’t wait to return

Restoraniga Morika Inn asub Waikabubakis. Selles kahetärnihotellis on terrass ning konditsioneeri ja privaatse vannitoaga toad. Tubades on lameekraaniga televiisor. Clean room, lovely staff! They’re really nice and caring🥹 tasty and varied breakfast (rice, sides, tea, coffee, fruits, vegetables!!)🫶🏼 didn’t try the pool but it looked good! If I’ll ever come back to Waikabubak I would definitely choose Morika Inn again
