The hotel is really new and in a great condition. Super clean and the rooms are very big, the bathrooms also super modern. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The location is not very central but some restaurants are at a walkable distance.

Very friendly host (living next house), very nice rooftop room with lot if light. Very clean also. The food they served us on the balkony was very delicious. It is so quiet and green around! The village is also very very nice. Please take a walk there! We felt very happy there.

We had our stay in Hornbill Homestay dated 12th & 13th Dec 2024. This was really overall awesome experience in terms of stay, food & also locality considering it's proximity with Ratnagiri station.. Would like to mention we were with our 11 month old baby and requested Dhoke Sir & Madam for necessary arrangements,they cooperated with us so well making it awesome experience. Overall great experience & would recommend this

I truly enjoyed my stay at Bharja Inn.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Bharja Inn. Amit and his wonderful family looked after me very well. Feeding me delicious vegetarian food and giving me local recommendations of places to eat and sites to see. Amit even took me out on his bike for a tour of the wider area. Kelashi is a charming village with beautiful surroundings, lots of and nature and coconut trees, and a very mystical beach.

Ganpatipule, the land of Lord Ganesha, hosts easily the best...

Ganpatipule, the land of Lord Ganesha, hosts easily the best beaches in India - Kajar Bhati beach, Aare Ware Beach & the Ganpatipule Beach. Malgund Beach, all are superb ! I liked the Kajar Bhati beach the most being an isolated beach spot just before Aare Ware Beach. We also Visited Ratnagiri, which is a quick drive, and visited Lokmanya Tilak's residence, and also that of Keshavsut, noted Marathi poet, really transcended us to the past. We also did a quick visit to the Ratnadurg Fort at Ratnagiri. Views are fabulous. Good veg food options at Mejwani and Swad - by Mehendale's. Swad also serve my favourite 'Ukadiche Modak'. Rains had just started here, and the weather was just perfect, not a drop of sweat due to the early arrival of monsoon with good winds! Multiple Good stay Options available here. Best part was the excellent road conditions throughout - hats off to the administration !

Nice place but very hot and humid atmosphere due to sea shore. Best suitable in winter. Lot of good hotels around provides genuine maharashtrisn cuisine like famous dish of Ganapati bappa i. e. traditional modak. Worth trying local dishes than trying regular options like idli sambar, dosa etc.

Calm , Peaceful place, - Bhatye Beach area, however only for those who prefer calm and peaceful village lifestyle, no rush, prefer walking, and love the rains, living in forest life, birds, insects, prefer simple food, want to breathe fresh air, basic needs, flexible and adaptable to such living . Beach is 15 min walk . You may not find hotels near by, but people are kind enough to serve home made food, at reasonable rate, you need to check with the local small shops who serve packed chips, water biscuits etc
