Staying at Sireksstadir Farm Holiday was one of the most peaceful experiences of our trip to Iceland. Although it is about 40 km away from the Golden Circle, the tranquility is absolutely worth it. There is no noise or crowds—just beautiful nature and complete relaxation. A small, fast-flowing river runs through the nearby canyon, making it a wonderful place for a peaceful walk while enjoying the stunning surroundings. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. You can truly feel that this is a family-run place, created with care and love. The accommodation is cozy, authentic, clean, and has a warm, homely atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared with great attention to detail. Everything felt fresh and homemade. If you're looking for an authentic Icelandic countryside experience where you can enjoy nature, I highly recommend!
