The hosts here were incredible! We came in late at night and the host walked us personally over to a pizza place nextdoor because we were hungry after a long day of traveling. In the morning he also offered to take us to the airport for a very small fee. The service was incredible and we felt really cared for here. Close to the airport. Large bedroom with every amenity you need. Bathroom was clean and new. I am very happy with our stay here!

The swiftest connection between the city and airport is by the ‘Vola in Bus’ service, which departs every 30 minutes between 05:30 and 00:30. A little bit faster, a taxi will cost around EUR 25.

The place I stayed was great, the owner was so sweet that she was willing to give me a ride to the train station by my departure. The breakfasts that she made was very delicious and at the time I needed (for Tuscany tour i needed to leave at 6:30am instead of regular breakfast at 7:30am) she prepared it for me. Only some minus I would give to a distance from the train station to the property. But from other hand it was a good exercise:)

Scandicci itself is a safe and quiet neighborhood, although it doesn’t offer many tourist activities. For nightlife, dining, and sightseeing, you’ll need to head into Florence, which is easy to reach by tram.

Taking a teen who hates city trips to a city was a daring undertaking but we booked a "dark mystery tour" (not scary), a wine tasting and a pizza making class created a city trip that she will glady do again. Blending cultural things in with the others was welcomed.

Fiesole has many sites to explore with its fantastic amphitheatre, monastery and cathedral. It has some excellent restaurants and local shops. We loved the Snooty Fox with its delicious authentic Italian food, Terrazza with its roof terrace with amazing views over Florence, Pizzeria Buca delle Fate, Ristorante BISTROT AL 5. Anyone who likes hiking in between city visits, will find some beautiful nature walks.

I think Lastra a Signa - the Agriturisimo at San Lorenzo was great for us and more like a 4.5 than a 3. We would highly recommend it for a full Tuscan experience, the stay, the food everything was great. Thank you Booking.Com for having this on you website. We really appreciate the choices you give us.

the location was amazing, up in the hills above florence, adjoining a national park. Birds all around - very peaceful. very nice staff and lovely croissants and coffee for breakfast
Shared pool and hot tub, but not an issue for us as it was almost empty.
Access to Florence okay, but you need a car. Drive to scandicci for a tram probably best (we drove all th way in with a wheelchair)

Fiesole is a must for visitors to Tuscany. This small hill top town is a peaceful place to stay outside Firenze. The best restaurant is Has an outdoor terrace it’s on the right as you arrive into the piazza. The hotel we stayed at was FH55 villa Fiesole. I highly recommend this hotel.

The house was lovely and the lady owner very kind. It would have been nice to have a kettle in our room. We were surprised to find that breakfast was not served in the hotel but in a cafe 1.5 km away which we had to walk to as we are travelling by train. The breakfast was good but it was a long walk. As we were leaving early next day the proprietor brought us a take-away and drove us to the train station, which was very kind of her.
