United KingdomLocation was beautiful . Great private parking area for our hire car . Breakfast delicious and comprehensive . Nothing was too much trouble. Great to have safety deposit box in room and lovely balcony area with helpful clothes airer for handwashing . Giovanna the owner and her assistant Giade are delightful and very welcoming . The boat ride to local sea caves with francesco ( arranged by Giovanna) was wonderful and very reasonably priced .The local restaurant Chalet degli Ulivi was a real find for dinner - fabulous food run by lovely local family

We liked the location; it was quiet and had a great view of the hills and the sea. The location is a little too far to walk to the city centre but not a problem if you have a car.

Really good base to see the forest umbra and to go for walks...
Really good base to see the forest umbra and to go for walks along the coast. Unexpectedly came across the Fanoja festival which was the highlight of the trip.
Most restaurants in the old town still aren't open for the season, but was nice to have the place with hardly any tourists, felt really authentic.

The harbor area is beautiful, the upper city has great views and a very charming old town which seems to be very authentic and less touristy, alley ways come with many restaurants, cafes, shops. A lovely town.

The village is unfortunately in a state of total disrepair, it is badly maintained and very dirty. In the historical centre, many old houses are uninhabited and falling apart. Some attempts at improvement can be seen here and there, but much remains to be done.
The kindness and helpfulness of the inhabitants compensate for the bad impression left by the places.

Definitely worth visiting! DELICIOUS FOOD!!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful crystal-clear water, and an amazing pool just steps from the beach. I’d happily come back.

Vieste is fantastic!!
Vieste is fantastic!! Wonderful people working at all the cafes, restaurants, and shops. Our favorite place was Fresh! right across the street. We had coffee there every morning and spritzes overlooking the water every afternoon. The staff there are the best!! We also had gelato at the place across the street every night. Our favorite meals were at Acqua and Il Capriccio, both amazing. We also enjoyed Padre Pio and sandwiches at Antichi Sapori. We walked every day to the San Lorenzo beach and back, and rented chairs and an umbrella there twice. Lovely!! We were there during the Vieste in Love festival which was magical.

A wonderful town on the Gargano peninsula.
A wonderful town on the Gargano peninsula. Perfect beach, probably one of the most beautiful here. The problem is that none of the restaurants are open in winter. Only two pizzerias are open with tragic food quality and terrible service.

Good starting point for exploring Gargano. Close to the sea, while not far from the hilly area around Monte Sant´Angelo, Foresta Umbra and other pretty places of interest. The town itself is very nice and has all the amenities, bars, restaurants, shops, e-bike rental...

The boat tour we took along the coast was unforgettable. Our stay was short and off season, so we walked around the town and out at the Umbra Forest to enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature. If we are in the region again, we would definitely come back to Vieste.

Peschici was great but our mistake was booking a stay at...
Peschici was great but our mistake was booking a stay at Villa di Pasquale. They gave us a very uncomfortable unit with no hot water. They told us in writing they would refund us for the 2 nights we did not use, then refused to do so. I've stayed in dozens of places all over Italy and Villa di Pasquale was by far the worst.

Sea, mountains, forest so beautiful!
The town has a few bars and restaurants enough for a week- 10 days though if you go down to the beach there are lots more there, but it’s a drive from the town it’s too far to walk.
Loved the live music in the town on some nights, the restaurants get busy and some needed booking.
