ItalyThe location is perfect: just off the seafront and beach and 5 minutes on foot to the city centre. The rooms, while not newly decorated, were in perfect condition and absolutely spotless!! We had a lovely balcony complete with table, 2 chairs and seaview. The staff were exceptional: attentive, very pleasant and made us feel welcome and at our ease.

Really good base to see the forest umbra and to go for walks...
Really good base to see the forest umbra and to go for walks along the coast. Unexpectedly came across the Fanoja festival which was the highlight of the trip.
Most restaurants in the old town still aren't open for the season, but was nice to have the place with hardly any tourists, felt really authentic.

Vieste is fantastic!!
Vieste is fantastic!! Wonderful people working at all the cafes, restaurants, and shops. Our favorite place was Fresh! right across the street. We had coffee there every morning and spritzes overlooking the water every afternoon. The staff there are the best!! We also had gelato at the place across the street every night. Our favorite meals were at Acqua and Il Capriccio, both amazing. We also enjoyed Padre Pio and sandwiches at Antichi Sapori. We walked every day to the San Lorenzo beach and back, and rented chairs and an umbrella there twice. Lovely!! We were there during the Vieste in Love festival which was magical.

The boat tour we took along the coast was unforgettable.
The boat tour we took along the coast was unforgettable. Our stay was short and off season, so we walked around the town and out at the Umbra Forest to enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature. If we are in the region again, we would definitely come back to Vieste.

Vieste is absolutely gorgeous.
Vieste is absolutely gorgeous. The historical town is beautiful and restored to perfection with many beautiful restaurants and shops all over. The newer section of town is beaming with modern shops and bars and great places to have an aperitif while people watching. Both areas a great for exploring and strolling around. The beaches are all spectacular with many beautiful restaurants and beach clubs. Highly recommended to all. Can’t waist to retune.

Vieste is really interesting and pretty old town and the...
Vieste is really interesting and pretty old town and the people are friendly. Good standard of restaurants and not overpriced.
There's a port where we hired a boat or you can get a boat trip.
Some parts are very steep but worth walking up for the views.
We stayed on the beach, a 25 min walk in along the beach but worth it or there's a bus for 2 euros p.p
Would definitely recommend it :)

After spending 3 weeks in Puglia in late September and...
After spending 3 weeks in Puglia in late September and finding a lot of the cafes bars and restaurants frustratingly closed it was lovely to have a bustling city with beach.
We spent a lot of time in the surrounds of the town too with water sports and saw lots of cyclists.

WOW!! Where to start... this place was incredible, best accommodation during our tour of Bari by far. Guilio was so friendly and helpful, we had a beautiful large room with stunning shower in a chimney! The breakfast was freshly made each morning and we were greeted by Guilios Mum. The view from the terrace for evening sundowners was amazing and the location is spot on, a street away from the little restaurants and bars but quiet enough to have a great night sleep.

This place is like something out of a 1960s movie.
The building, terrace, swimming pool are all beautiful. We arrived just at the end of the season but still managed a swim at the beach and then flew pool. The breakfast is the best we have had on our trip and then flew pool price c of accommodation is very reasonable
We would love to come to Vieste again and spend some B more time at this ageless sophisticated hotel.

Very nice room with patio. Roof terrace very nice. Bathroom and beds very good - comfortable beds and excellent shower. Gargano peninsula really special and many VERY good beaches to choose from - the best near town but reached by car.
