ItalyThe location is perfect: just off the seafront and beach and 5 minutes on foot to the city centre. The rooms, while not newly decorated, were in perfect condition and absolutely spotless!! We had a lovely balcony complete with table, 2 chairs and seaview. The staff were exceptional: attentive, very pleasant and made us feel welcome and at our ease.

Really good base to see the forest umbra and to go for walks...
Really good base to see the forest umbra and to go for walks along the coast. Unexpectedly came across the Fanoja festival which was the highlight of the trip.
Most restaurants in the old town still aren't open for the season, but was nice to have the place with hardly any tourists, felt really authentic.

Vieste is fantastic!!
Vieste is fantastic!! Wonderful people working at all the cafes, restaurants, and shops. Our favorite place was Fresh! right across the street. We had coffee there every morning and spritzes overlooking the water every afternoon. The staff there are the best!! We also had gelato at the place across the street every night. Our favorite meals were at Acqua and Il Capriccio, both amazing. We also enjoyed Padre Pio and sandwiches at Antichi Sapori. We walked every day to the San Lorenzo beach and back, and rented chairs and an umbrella there twice. Lovely!! We were there during the Vieste in Love festival which was magical.

The boat tour we took along the coast was unforgettable.
The boat tour we took along the coast was unforgettable. Our stay was short and off season, so we walked around the town and out at the Umbra Forest to enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature. If we are in the region again, we would definitely come back to Vieste.

Vieste is absolutely gorgeous.
Vieste is absolutely gorgeous. The historical town is beautiful and restored to perfection with many beautiful restaurants and shops all over. The newer section of town is beaming with modern shops and bars and great places to have an aperitif while people watching. Both areas a great for exploring and strolling around. The beaches are all spectacular with many beautiful restaurants and beach clubs. Highly recommended to all. Can’t waist to retune.

Vieste is really interesting and pretty old town and the...
Vieste is really interesting and pretty old town and the people are friendly. Good standard of restaurants and not overpriced.
There's a port where we hired a boat or you can get a boat trip.
Some parts are very steep but worth walking up for the views.
We stayed on the beach, a 25 min walk in along the beach but worth it or there's a bus for 2 euros p.p
Would definitely recommend it :)

After spending 3 weeks in Puglia in late September and...
After spending 3 weeks in Puglia in late September and finding a lot of the cafes bars and restaurants frustratingly closed it was lovely to have a bustling city with beach.
We spent a lot of time in the surrounds of the town too with water sports and saw lots of cyclists.

Cozy 2 floor apartment with everything you need and magical natural surroundings: a magnificent garden and a valley of olive trees accompanied by 3 dogs, chickens and 3 horses. A wonderful country place and very close to the center of Vieste and the beaches. Marco and his family made everything for our comfortable stay, told us about the best places, beaches, boat trips. Would love to stay here again

Amazing location! 50 m. from the better beach of Vieste. Near the historical centre.
Perfectly clear rooms, everything is new and beautifully decorated.
Free delicious breakfast and coffee, made by the owner. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He recommends best places to visit.
If you go in vieste, you should stay in Le Dune !

The hotel is clean, perfectly designed, it smells nice, the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are modern, well equipped, with a touch of luxury. Breakfast was excellent, it had everything you would wish for. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the beach and within a short walking distance from the town centre.

The Lido hotel is very well located at 5-10 minutes by foot from the city centre. The staff is very friendly and happy to help. Our room was clean and comfortable. In June, there were many parking spots near the hotel. Very nice place to stay in Vieste for a fair price!
