Close to the station and lots of restaurants and walking distance to Niigata attractions for people who like to walk, it was also really clean and comfortable for a family of 3 and everything you could possibly need was provided. The host was also so helpful and caring - I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Naomi!

Friendly staff, coffee daily after 4pm I think, onsen at certain times, extra hangers on each floor if needed. Microwave and washing facilities also available.

We stayed in Niigata for nice two weeks and had a very comfortable visit. Next time we will include Sado Island but want to stay overnight there for several days. The bus and train system was very easy to take daily side trips all over. The huge Kyowa Car and Life Museum at Tsubame Sanjo was an unbelievable hidden gem!

Niigata is a lovely city with a nice vibe.
Niigata is a lovely city with a nice vibe. We stayed near the river and the views were beautiful. We caught the ferry to Sado Island and hired a car. There is a lot to see on the island and we could have stayed for more than a day.

We didn’t explore the area as we were on a road trip and just passing through. We drove from here to Matsumoto which would have been straightforward if we hadn’t got caught in a snowstorm! However, it looked like a more interesting area than we had expected and we would go back to look around the more fully on another trip.
