All Toyoko Inn are similar, I guess. They are good for a short stay and that's it. This one in particular is located right next to the train station (a Shinkansen stop), so I guess it's a good alternative as a temporary stop when going to Kanazawa or Niigata, although I wouldn't recommend it. The TV has some interactive information, including some local information and videos (at least in Japanese). You can leave your bags in the reception after checking out if you need to.

- The shampoo, very nice, keep your hair in the shape you want. I really wanna know the name of that shampoo but forgot to ask. - The staffs are very friendly and available 24/7. - The single room is decent for the price. - The hotel location is within a shotengai so I guess it’s quite convenient? - You can rent bikes from Hotel Okura, which is 400m from this hotel, provided that you have signed up as a member from rent-a-cycle near the Niigata station.

The location of this hotel was fantastic! It's located opposite Niigata's main train station and the bus terminal is directly opposite the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat close by and the hotel does have its own restaurant, but we didn't eat in there. The rooms were nice, the beds were comfy and there is free wifi in all the rooms. The is also hand sanitiser in all the public areas and the cleanliness seemed to be of a high standard.

Many city and intercity bus routes stops 2 minutes walk from hotel outside station. - Many eateries and convenience stores around area. Lawsons and 7/11 right outside and 24/7 McD 15mins walk away. - Clean room/bathroom, and toiletries incl. yuzu bath salts provided. - Didn’t try the restaurant but menu looking good and well priced - Room was very competitively priced

The Toei is located in the center of the Benten area. This is the bar/restaurant district with awesome eateries. A few blocks away is the mall with plenty of shopping, Uniqlo/GU etc. The hotel is very clean with friendly staff. This is a business hotel so the rooms are small, but they have all of the amenities. This is the side of Niigata station you want to stay in. I would recommend this hotel.

it was perfect ! the staff was really kind and i don't have any problems during my stay . All explications were explained simply and the view was beautiful. it's probably the most big hotel that i go in my life and probably the most big hotel of niigata ! thank you very much , i will definetly return there one day 👍😊

Wonderful cozy atmosphere. Great shower/bath area and small but relaxing lounge. Very friendly owners. Just a couple minutes’ walk to shops. We went in summer and it was a lot cooler than than Niigata City and there were some nice ponds and short hikes within a few kilometers. Owners speak Japanese, English, and Spanish.

I loved the staff they were so kind even with the language barrier we did just fine communicating. The breakfast that was offered was simple but enough. The smoothies they serve are so delicious. I definitely would stay here again if I should ever be in Niigata. It is centrally located to all the things we wanted to visit.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the station. The room was adequate. There is a public bicycle rental scheme set up in Niigata, and bicycles can be rented for 500 yen per day, picked up and dropped off at various locations. It's worth looking into if you are interested in seeing local sites.

The concept is very nice, bookselves and behind those the beds. l didnt come in contact with any staff, probably one guy that was always there was among the staff, but he never spoke. The location is very good, next to Niigata station and the access is by elevator. You have to pay extra for towel

Basic but very clean and convenient business hotel, typical of business hotel chains in Japan. Very good value for the money, conveniently located to hospitals, shopping, and some restaurants, convenient for travelers with cars/motorcycles, and convenient bus connections to Niigata station.

The location of the hotel was perfect. A lot of shopping options around. Right between niigata station and the ocean (both ways about 25minutes walk). The japanese style breakfast was good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The double bed is big.

Very near to the Niigata station. Place is neat and very clean. Allowed late checkout for additional ¥1000 per hour. Breakfast was nice and satisfactory. Allowed luggage storage as early checkin was not allowed. Staff were nice and welcoming.

Staffs were friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and well equipped. Location is good, in between Niigata station and Furumachi, both within walking area. The hotel is not located at the main roads, thus the surrounding was clam and quite.

Good hotel to stay close to Niigata station. Don't expect much it is just like they show it on the photos. Pillows are Japanese style only so think about getting your own for longer stay.

It is located in the center of Niigata city near Niigata station and bar areas. Rooms were comfortable and the hot spring in the hotel was very nice. Also, the staff was helpful!

Comfortable and well-equipped hotel in a convenient, central location in Niigata City. The bed was extremely comfortable and I enjoyed the spacious spa.
