A wonderful traditional breakfast was served in the cozy restaurant. The room looked out over the station and towards Mt Myoko. There was a homely vibe, even a little paper origami crane on the desk.

We stayed here for one night visiting cherry blossom festival near Takada Castle. The hotel is 2 min by foot from the railway station, which is convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms clean and breakfast tasty. We got a room with a beautiful view to the mountains. There is a public onsen just at the corner, so you can relax there in the evening after a long walk as we did.

We were the only female guests, so had the onsen to ourselves. Breakfast is adequate - nothing special, but daily variety. The restaurant has a limited menu, but excellent fare.

Very clean and really spacious room. Great hot tub. Only a couple of minutes walk to the ferry terminal.
