I think I like this resort thank to the location, size of the room, and the view from windows.

The facilities, the cleanliness, nice and professional staff, the big windows and view of the room. Really close to Fuji-q Highland, and accessible with public transportation.

Loved how retro the hotel was still and felt like I had gone back in time. The room was wonderful, well kept and maintained and so clean! Lovely bed and sheets and duvet. We were lucky to have the view of Fuji when the fog cleared. Staff were very kind and helpful too. Especially the gentleman operating the car park - legend.

The location was great, a view of the lake and if lucky enough... Mt. Fuji! The onsen was very traditional and was a bonus after a long day. You also get a japanese breakfast which was a surprise.

The views from my room, restaurant and sky bar were amazing. I was lucky that Mount Fuji was clearly visible throughout my stay. The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were well-equipped - a nice set of toiletries, and I loved the hair dryer The onsen was lovely. Both the indoor and outdoor baths had a view of the lake and Mount Fuji. There was also a steam room. I had the shabu-shabu dinner twice which was good once I got the hang of what to do. It was also nice to get a free drink ticket for every day of my stay too. The hotel has a number of electric bikes which you can use free of charge. I hired one for the day and rode round two local lakes and visited a couple of sites - more reliable than the local tourist buses! This was the best hotel I stayed in in Japan. I would definitely recommend it.

Perfect location, and we were lucky to have a great view: we could see Mount Fuji in the morning!

Literally the best view at the most convenient cost. The view of mt. Fuji is unbeatable. The Kawaguchi Asama shrine right next door adds to the spiritual space. Less touristic with lots of space to walk around with no one around.

Great price, great location if you’re willing to drive around half an hour to key places in the Fuji area. Breakfast is really good and probably worth the price alone!

fter the pace of Tokyo and Osaka, Fuji Lake Hotel was a refreshing and very pleasant surprise. The setting is ideal, with direct lake side access, a swimming pool, and a dedicated viewing deck for Mount Fuji. The hotel is also conveniently located within a five minute walk of local eateries and convenience stores, and the free shuttle to and from Kawaguchiko Station makes getting around easy. Service is a standout. From arrival, staff were welcoming, calm, and highly accommodating. Check in was handled in the lounge with refreshments while staff came to the guest, which immediately made the experience feel relaxed and personal. Throughout the stay, staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and willing to help. Both buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent, supported by stunning lake views that elevate the entire dining experience. The onsen was exceptional and provided a peaceful space to unwind. Amenities were easy to access from the ground floor, adding to the overall convenience of the stay.
