Quiet, comfortable, fantastic staff, woke up to and amazing view. Staff rang taxis for us twice. Free beverages including alcohol. Amenities were clean and fresh. Will definelty stay again if/when I am in Japan again

The inside was gorgeous and the room.was huge! Very traditional.japanese and couldn't have asked for something better. Only downside is it's a little bit far out of the main area of gotemba. 30 minute, walk from the train station so totally doable

We chose Gotemba because of it's location to Mt Fuji plus...

We chose Gotemba because of it's location to Mt Fuji plus the outlet mall. We probably could have just done a day trip from Tokyo as we only stayed one night so was a rushed stop. The outlet mall wasn't quite like we had expected with homeware shops and other things that travelers would not buy.

The outlets have always been raved about, but they're just high-end shopping outlets that you could find anywhere. It's not unique to Japan and was a bit of a waste of our time. Otherwise, Gotemba is the perfect area overlooking Fuji, and we love returning every year! Rembrandt Premium Hotel is by far the highlight for us with their meals and stay.

Everything about Gotemba is excellent and magical.

Everything about Gotemba is excellent and magical. Gotemba is one of the most significant epicenters for adventure and sightseeing in all of Japan. It is of course an exceptional gateway to hiking and adventuring on Mount Fuji using the Gotemba, Subashiri and Fujinomiya 5th Station traiheads. Hakone-Yumoto onsens/spas and Lake Ashi are also right in the area. Free shuttle buses offer a 20 minute ride straight to the Famous Gotemba Outlets if shopping for 15 hours is what you are in the mood for. Don't forget Odawara Castle just down the way or Fuji-Q and the Fuji Speedway just up the way, to name a few. Gotemba ROCKS! Mount Fuji and the Osunabashiri descending trail are really the #1 world class attraction among many. Furthermore, all the special local people who support all the vast Gotemba opportunities are the best and truly loved.

We came to Gotemba because we wanted a base from which to...

We came to Gotemba because we wanted a base from which to climb Fuji and the hotels offered an onsen which was far more reasonable that some of the other hotels in area. There is a bus that runs from the train station to the 5th station where you can start your climb - just make sure you exit the station on the right side! (left as you come up the stairs from the trains) Most useful if you've got a car otherwise I think I'd have stayed elsewhere

We found the hotel was easy to locate and noticed several...

We found the hotel was easy to locate and noticed several signs with the hotel and the distance (kilometers) to the hotel. Hotel parking area was conveniently located near the elevators and with good lighting. We found a great yakiniku place within a 10 min. drive from the hotel and saw many other options for places to eat. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful on explaining the hotel facilities. If we stayed for more than one night we would have been interested if there were places within walking distance of the hotel.

It was modern looking, yet simple, and very clean. It’s about 5-7 mins walk to Tomei-Gotemba IC bus terminal which makes it convenient to get to Premium Outlets. It’s also near many food outlets which are within walking distance as well. Not crowded and relaxing being away from the bustle.

Convenient location not far from Gotemba Premium Outlets. Spacious parking. View of Fujisan from the window early morning. The check-in staff offered a choice between a bottle of water, tea, or a can of beer. Kare-raisu was also available for free in the evening.

We booked a room with a view of Mount Fuji. We saw the grandiose Mount Fuji first thing in the morning as we opened the blind. Breakfast was substantial. It is also very near the Gotemba Premium Outlet.
