The staff was so nice and where there whenever you need them. I made a promise to them that when I return to Hakone, I would definitely stay there because it feels so family like, specially with how everyone shares in the lobby. It’s also pretty centric so it’s easy to get anywhere from there.

The most comfortable bed we've slept in. Very central location. Spotless clean. Easy check in and out. Convenient luggage storage before and after check in and out. So many Onsens nearby.

The amenities were complete and the room was clean. I was surprised that we could also borrow lounge wear/pajamas. Instructions on the use of appliances had English labels. It was also easy to communicate with the host. Overall good value for money!

This place is stunning. The smell of their own blend of aromatherapy oil when you walk in is divine. The onsen is gorgeous, you can book a private slot included in the price. A lovely tea soba is included for your breakfast. Simple menu for dinner, only two or three options. The room was stunning, very traditional looking with amazing views. Big TV so you still have home comforts.. loved it. We came here after 5 nights in Tokyo and I slept like a baby here, it was so relaxing. Staff and very kind and welcoming

This accommodation is spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Staff very nice and professional.

Big and clean rooms. Onsen available without extra pay. Atmosphere like at home. Owner/receptionist is exceptionally nice and helpful person.

Very spacious, clean and great facilities. Bedding and towels were clean and plentiful. Yukata’s and slippers were provided for use indoors. The onsen was great and each time I used it there was no one else in there so was very relaxing ☺️ It was a short walk up a steep hill from the train station but nothing to much our 5 year old grandson managed it fine. Lovely views over the mountains from our apartment windows.

My stay here truly exceeded my expectations. This place is absolutely beautiful, and even more charming in person than what appears on the Booking page. One of the most wonderful surprises was discovering the onsens. I had not realized when booking that the property offers such a variety, including private and outdoor baths, and they are all truly spectacular. If I may make a small suggestion, it might be nice to include photos of the onsens and the front desk area on the Booking page, as they are far more beautiful in person than what the current photos show. Thank you very much for such a lovely stay. I had a wonderful time here and will remember it fondly.

Amazing location, spa and great value for money.

Green plaza offered both complimentary breakfast and dinner and the spread was elaborate and lavish. The restaurant is really big that could accommodate 80-100 people at one go. We went for onsen every day and it was really good. Our room was Japanese style and 4 of us stayed comfortably.

We stayed in a western style room with a private bathroom. The room was so clean. The staff were very polite and they spoke English. We did not have meals from the hotel. There is a 7-eleven very close to the hotel and also the bus stop if you are going to lake Ashi. In our stay, they offered us a free private onsen usage for 30-mins. It was great and recommend to anyone who stays there.

Extremely helpful staff! We were stuck at Gora station at 6:30pm due to rain. The hotel reception tried to coordinate a cab for us but none were available. Seeing our plight, the guy in the reception came to pick us up himself! It was a really nice gesture :) They helped us with vegetarian dinner and breakfast as well. Since there were not too many breakfast options, KB got a pesto pasta made for us separately! Couldn’t have asked for more in terms of hospitality :)

The whole experience was excellent. Thank goodness for the shuttle from Odawara Station. The views were unbelievable. We really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner - the offerings were varied and delicious. The onsen was great, too. The front desk staff and dining staff were also excellent.

Loved the authenticity and Japanese style rooms

Loved this property, luxury getaway in a beautiful little village. Spacious, beautiful shower, huge comfy bed.

I had a wonderful stay here a month ago. The location is excellent and very convenient. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and always ready to help. They spoke English, which made everything much easier for me and they patiently helped me understand everything I needed. One of my favorite parts was the private onsen, which could be reserved for a convenient time. It was peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Traditional Japanese style Quiet, clean. Helpfully provided heated fleece blankets

Hakone a great, relaxing stay while travelling in Japan. The location is just outside the main centre and is quiet. The futons are on the floor but comfortable. Lots of linen and the shower and bathroom is great. It is very quiet from outside noise at night except for the rush of water as the river flows.

Everything is soo beautiful place

The kindest reception staff I have ever met. Even though they couldn’t speak a lot of English they made every effort to help always.

The room was fabulous. The kaiseki dinners and breakfasts were incredible
