The staff at night that checked us in knew zero english, although after some back and forth we were able to get it done. The over all facility was amazing, i wish i could keep it a secret because of how nice it is but i cant help but share. We had the room with the dry sauna and it was amazing, we used it every knight we were there. I hope to visit Y-Hotel on my next visit. Only complaint is that we didnt have enough nights im Hiroshima, next time we’ll make sure to stay longer.

The room was absolutely clean and filled with an abundance of towels, garbage cans, and toiletries. It was massively spacious and filled with light from lots of windows. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great for getting around the city. We had absolutely no problems with check in or anything else.

Loved Hiroshima, definitely one of my most favorite cities...

Loved Hiroshima, definitely one of my most favorite cities in Japan. People warm and laid-back. Found it to be one of the most peaceful cities I have ever visited in my life, even with it's very tragic and heartbreaking history, maybe that is why, locals feel the need to live life peaceful and as stress free as possible. Highly recommend a visit.

Hiroshima was fascinating, for obvious reasons. I did not expect to find it so beautiful though, and it has left me with the impression of a prosperous and culturally interesting city. I hope to come back for a longer stay.

Plenty to do in 3 full days.

Plenty to do in 3 full days. Hiroshima Memorial Park and Museum are a must. We went to Miyajima Island. Get away from the throngs of people and it's great. The museums and garden are definitely worth a visit. Restaurants are plentiful and good. Easy getting around with the tram.

I only stayed for a couple of days, but it was enough to visit the atomic bomb dome, the peace museum and nearby Miyajima. I think that Hiroshima should be a must-visit city for everyone who wants to understand Japan at least a little. The people are warm, the city is amazing and the history is deeply moving. I ate some amazing okonomiyaki at Takanobashi Hassho, a very small hole-in-the-wall shop with an amazing owner who has been doing it for decades. Be careful though as there is no english menu. Although, the owner tries his best to understand english and will joke with you to make you feel at home. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I really love Hiroshima.

I really love Hiroshima. It’s probably my second or third favorite city in Japan after Tokyo. Hiroshima is perfect for people who like a city that isn’t too noisy, with wide pedestrian streets, beautiful parks, and riverside areas. The shopping here is also excellent, in my opinion. I’m not a shopaholic, but it feels like the city has all the brands you need. It’s very pleasant to get around the city by bicycle, which I really enjoy. There are mountains, islands, and the sea all around - for nature lovers, it’s basically paradise. And with a short train ride, you can reach one of Japan’s most famous cycling routes: the Shimanami Kaido. Overall, I absolutely love Hiroshima and will definitely recommend this city to all my friends.

Hiroshima is a must do, whilst in Japan.

Hiroshima is a must do, whilst in Japan. To get the most out of your stay, I would recommend 2 nights. On day 1 we arrived at the train station and booked a Guru walk in the afternoon to get a feel for the area and some history before visiting the museum the next day. We booked an early visit for the next morning. Be prepared for a confronting and solemn experience. We then booked the Miyajima ferry which leaves from the Hiroshima dock and spent the rest of the day on the island.

We booked Mitsui Garden Hotel as it was located very centrally and looked clean with decent enough services. What we got though exceeded our expectations greatly. The staff who helped us check in on our first night were extremely helpful and friendly, and the views, overall service and cleanliness were all amazing. I will definitely be staying here again if and when I return to Hiroshima.

We had an absolutely wonderful time visiting this hotel. Amazing views on 21 floor. It’s old luxury hotel, Home Alone movie vibe. Located in the heart of Hiroshima city, walking distance - castle. Taxi available in front of hotel. Friendly staff and drivers.
