I love that our room is big! Beds are comfy, and all the basic necessities in a hotel room are provided and more! Staff are friendly and helpful too. I had to check-in past midnight and I gave them a heads up, and the staff was there happily greeted and checked us in!

A very beautiful, brand-new hotel with friendly staff who do their best to communicate using a translator. The bathroom is designed according to the latest standards, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need—honestly, you could arrive with nothing and still feel completely comfortable. The towels are wonderful. Breakfast is delivered to the room, which also comes with a coffee machine, a kettle, and a lovely selection of teas.

Staff was very friendly, helpful and smiling. They did tasting of traditional alcohol drink Sake for us. We were chatting together and having nice time. They possess beautiful wall in the main hall where are nice photos and messages from their guests from the whole world. Room was spacious and comfortable. I really recommend this hotel.

Excellent facilities. Recently upgraded and everything was exceptional, the sauna, the layout of the beds, the projector and the shared bar and laundry facilities downstairs. Only a 5 minute walk from Hiroshima station. Location was excellent

I wish I'd had more time.

I wish I'd had more time. I could've spent a whole day/ night on Miyajima. I took the ferry from Memorial park round trip, but it's a very small and completely enclosed boat, which doesn't give you a taste of the sea breeze and all the views are through a window. I would take the other ferry at least one way in the future. Memorial Park and museum can consume most of a day. It's heavy. Plan for some time afterwards to reflect and recuperate, but then enjoy the beautiful city that has sprung from the tragedy. I arrived too late to do anything on my first day so I just walked around my hotel neighborhood. The second day I visited the park, Miyajima, and the market, and left too early to do anything on the 3rd day. I didn't even have enough time to see the castle. If you arrive earlier in the day or leave late, 2 nights could be enough. It was also too hot to rush around so cooler temps might make a big difference in what you can do in a day.

A thought provoking trip through history.

A thought provoking trip through history. Very powerful story telling in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. Very clowded. Would recommend an audio guide as there wasn’t space to read the information in some areas - mid summer holidays visit. Walk the river in the early morning. The little restaurants in lanes are also a way to find good food in the evenings.

A memorable and iconic place to visit if you are interested...

A memorable and iconic place to visit if you are interested in the darker side of history, on a par with Auschwitz and the Killing Fields in Cambodia. Trump and Putin and all the other nuclear sabre rattlers should be sent here for a reality check to visit the museum and to understand the horror of nuclear conflict.

A must see place if you visit Japan for 2 weeks we stayed 2...

A must see place if you visit Japan for 2 weeks we stayed 2 days and spent half a day on Miyajima. Could have seen more of Hiroshima and surrounding areas. Great overground tram system running to time as expected.

Miyajima island is a must....allow plenty of time to enjoy...

Miyajima island is a must....allow plenty of time to enjoy the deer, food, shops, ropeway and walks. Catch the streetcar from outside Hiroshima station to Miyajima ferry. Station to the ferry Y240, ferry Y300. streetcar takes about 1hour 50mins . Ferry 15mins. Good Okonomiyaki (Japanese vegetable pancake) in Hiroshima and Miyajima. Take a box of tissues if you visit the Peace Museum...so sad to see what horror humans are capable of inflicting on one another! So much more to see and do in Hiroshima.

Interesting place. Good food, nice and kind people. I made some friends that seems true genuine forever friends. Im happy visiting the city. Not a fancy place to clarify, but super friendly. You can do things here that in other bigger cities will cost you much more, like the archery class.

I had a great stay in Hiroshima. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and easy to communicate with. I especially appreciated the dedicated smoking area, which was surprisingly uncommon during our travels across Japan. The large onsen was another highlight — spacious, relaxing, and perfect after a long day of exploring the city. Overall, it was an excellent experience and a hotel I would gladly return to.

What a beautiful hotel. Located right on the station it was the perfect start to our short but sweet stay in Hiroshima. It was the only time in our 3 week trip that we booked into a luxury, Western style hotel but it was really nice to do that for one night (especially after an emotional afternoon at the A-Bomb Dome, Peace Park and museum). A really, really nice hotel with beautiful facilities and wonderful staff.

The room was perfect, very modern, pretty good internet, good breakfast an the hotel is practically linked to a 7-eleven on 1st floor. Also, it is really close to the main shopping and dining areas of Hiroshima, good connection to the central station, and walking distance to main attractions in the city. I can only recommend it.

A pretty decent hotel for its price. Easy access to Hiroshima central, with about a twenty minute walk to the peace park. I would use again, as my usual hotel has priced itself out of my willing to pay category. This one was worth what I paid without a doubt. Also reasonably near to the main train station, which is good.
