Service level was top notch and the staff made us feel very well taken care of. Probably the best bean bag pillows I've laid my head on in Japan. Usually I find them uncomfortable, but these were surprisingly good. The toilet was fantastic too.

The first thing I realised when I entered the hotel was the smell, it was so nice and calming. The room was amazing. It was spacious, had a huge bed and even a window seating area. The view was decent from higher floor too. On the top floor, there was even a spa area, which was free for all guests! It has a sauna, an indoor and an outdoor bath. There were also vending machines and laundry machines on that floor. Of course, the room also had a toilet and bath. Bus and tram stops are just a few minutes away. The price was very affordable too, especially compared to other big cities.

Check in was super easy! The lobby was gorgeous and it made me and my husband feel like we were staying somewhere very fancy. Also the location was absolutely amazing. We were right next to Hiroshima castle and the atomic bomb dome. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was very spacious! 10/10 experience and great value for your money. Also the taxi that was always right outside was super convenient.

Helpful staff, good location, they have high chair in the dining room so our 7month baby can sit and eat. The room is the best of all the places we stayed in Japan for the last 4 weeks, really smart floor plan and good bath facilities inside the room. Breakfast is really good, and there are snacks and drinks several times a day. We really enjoyed our stay and eventually rebooked our hotel in next destination to this chain instead.

The Hiroshima Museum had an excellent photographic and artistic display of the event 6 August 1945. The talk and powerpoint presentation from the daughter of the survivor (basement) was most interesting. Very impressed that countries around the world contributed to the restaurant and maintenance of the Bomb Dome in order to support anti-nuclear warfare. The dedication and daily witness of Mito Kotsei (in-vitro survivor and English teacher) who cycles 30 minutes every day to the Dome to speak to interested people regarding the short and long-term effects of radiation and to oppose anti-nuclear warfare. He has a blog and has researched and printed his own literature, which unfortunately cannot be purchased. Hiroshima is a most beautiful, clean and attractive city.

Better to stay in a hotel than in the Guest House.

Better to stay in a hotel than in the Guest House. There is much to see on the island and it is very popular with locals. The tram takes you right there from the Hiroshima Station. A wonderful opportunity to buy local arts and crafts. The Miyajima Base Restuarant near the guest house had a totally gluten-free menu so all the deep fried food could be enjoyed by everyone. The rope-way experience in the snow was something exceptional.

Silent small town, just next to the station you have castle, not that frequently operating local trains from this station. To reach Hiroshima I had to take a bus and could not find local trains. Shinkansen is available, so those who dont worry about Shinkansen prices then it is super easy.

The town itself is nice but not too special. Plenty of good places to eat and many shops, but the main attraction is the startof the Shimanami Kaido bike route of course, it is gorgeous and highly recommended!

Mihara is a pocket of suburban quiet within the larger area of Hiroshima. Within easy ferry access of Okunoshima (Rabbit) Island, the Mihara area provides quiet, budget-friendly accommodations, and local specials. Mihara station also acts as a stop for the Shinkansen, so it is a great place to act as a base town during your travel. Please visit Mihara!

Kure is a great place for travelers who have an interest in Naval history, owing to Kure's long history as a naval port and the birthplace of famous ships like the battleship Yamato and aircraft carrier Akagi. The following restaurants were recommended to me so I also recommend them to future travelers! - Tone-honten (Curry Rice) - Dosanko Kure Hondori (Ramen) - Morisu (Ramen) - Jiyuken (Omurice) There is a rental bicycle service offered by JR by the station for 500円 where the bikes can be rented starting from 0800hrs and returned by 2000hrs.

Cute rabbits are just in front of the hotel. Anyone loves rabbit should come here once. But if you want to live here for one night or even longer, you should pay attention to the air in the aisle. The windows should be opened to let fresh air in.

So far, not so many people have known that the most beautiful museum in the world, the Simone Art Museum, is located in Otake, a small industrial town, 40 minutes from Hiroshima, about 2 stations further from Miyajima island.

Miyajima in the evenings is truly magical. Once the tourists leave, the island transforms into a peaceful sanctuary. We could stroll freely along the quiet streets, admire the traditional buildings, and enjoy the serene beauty without a soul in sight. The gentle sounds of nature, the calm waters, and the soft glow of lanterns made it feel like we had the island all to ourselves.
