It was amazing, very nice owners, helped us a lot to find our way around🤗. Close to the metro station took us few stops to be in the city center. The room was simple but very cosy everything you need is there. Beds are comfortable as well. We stayed a full week and we don’t regret. Will come back there for sure 🩷

I loved the onsen!! The location was amazing as well too as being outside of Asakusa meant you could wander through the markets quite early in the morning. The tatami mats were a first time experience but it's something I wish more hotels have haha

The view is amazing, better than I expected. Not only do you get the view of the scramble crossing but you can also see the Sky Tree and Tokyo tower. Both look amazing during the day and at night. Room is very clean and comfortable bed. Rainfall shower with shower-head and a nice deep bathtub for those who like to relax after long day of shopping around Shibuya. Be sure to get the breakfast as its amazing on the 11th floor restaurant.

The service we received from the reception was stellar. We travel with small children and even had to spontaneously see a doctor and the staff was always eager to help. Room was very clean and modern. We loved the location close to Chinatown and the harbour with direct metro access. I was visiting a.conference at the Pacifico but the surroundings here have more history than there.

Oh almost everything. For s reasonable price we got room with a private bath in the room, outstsnding breakfast and dinner, open bar with soft and alcoholic drinks, access to onsen and one time access to private marble bath. The experience of the traditional ryokan was amazing. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Staying in such a historical object was also a pleasure. And we loved Tonosawa area with beautiful nature and good transport.

Loved Tokyo and found it a very safe and clean city.

Loved Tokyo and found it a very safe and clean city. The metro is even better than London, felt so safe, clean and all the signs, directions are in English including Announcements on the trains for every stop. you really cant get lost. Lunch and Dinner were absolutely superb for sushi and fresh fish of course... BUT I would note that breakfasts ( Western style) are really lacking here.-you can get the normal coffee shops eg Starbucks with cakes etc but if you want Granola or Avocado Toast with Oat milk etc, this is really hard to find. Was surprised being as international as it is Tokyo didn't offer more. Also suprised nothing gets started here esp the western-like breakfast places until much later so from 0830 onwards. Shops open from 1030!!! Don't be up early wanting a full breakfast as you will not find it apart from a coffee ! Great activities -a must do: Yanaka walk around the old capital really nice to begin with Senso Temple ( very touristy so go early to avoid the crowds) but a real temple where you can make a wish . Tourist souvenir shops are the best here anywhere in Tokyo - do your souvenir shopping HERE or you wont find anywhere else as good! Imperial Palace - the famous Bridge everyone goes to photograph that exit/ entry is CLOSED permanently so you have to go into the gates and have a tour guide as the ONLY way to see this. The Guide is Free. Stunning gardens Shibuya Crossing - a MUST see the best views are from Starbucks on 3rd floor. Roppongi Hills- great little find to wander around..really pretty streets, shops and calm area..really great little find in a hectic city. Crisscross Cafe ( usually 30 mins wait time so go early) , Omotesando - this restaurant is a great little western brunch find. the area is absolutely stunning to walk around small old style japanese streets with boutique shops - really calm and trendy..kind of like Portobello Market/ Notting Hill equivalent.. glad i found this area...

The highlight of the stay besides the in-room onsen was the day spent going from the Yumoto station cable car up the mountain to the Hakone Ropeway then over to the pirate ferry terminal on Lake Ashi. Also recommend getting off the ferry at the MotoHakone stop and hiking up the short hill (some escalators) to the museum for the fabulous view of Mt. Fuji framed by Lake Ashi and the red Shrine gate.

You can't visit Japan and not go to Disneyland/Disneysea!

You can't visit Japan and not go to Disneyland/Disneysea! The parks are fantastic, the attractions lots of fun, and the attention to details are off the charts. Lots of places to eat, and spots to rest and catch your breath. The shops have everything you can think of to take home as beautiful souvenirs. We stayed at Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay, which is next to Disneysea. And the Maihama Station connects to other trains so that you can expand your visit to other areas outside the Disney Resort. We took trains to Shinjuku to wander around and shop - it was so easy, and then we returned to our comfortable hotel. A thoroughly enjoyable vacation time for our family,

Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration 2025 was held there this year, I had to come and visit. The city is only about an hour away from Tokyo and going there from Chiba was easy to do. Locally speaking, Chiba offers many different places to eat (some of the best donuts I've ever had came from a donut shop called Uni Donuts close to the hotel I stayed at) and a cool Anime hobby store.

I stayed 2 days in Nikko. Since it was not the peak time of year to visit, there were no crowds and easy access to the UNESCO site as well as waterfalls, the Villa, and dining in town. I will probably try to visit again in the fall when the colors are out.

Kawasaki City was a very convenient place to stay.

Kawasaki City was a very convenient place to stay. The location is excellent if you want easy access to both Tokyo and Yokohama, with good train connections and plenty of shops, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. The area felt practical, lively, and easy to navigate. Although not as scenic or tourist-focused as places like central Tokyo, Kyoto, or Yokohama waterfront, it is very useful as a base for transport, shopping, and short stays. I especially appreciated the convenience of the station area and the variety of food options. Also, the easy access to the bus or train to the airport, you just take your pick! I loved that.
