It was amazing to have an indoor BBQ in a rainy day. The outdoor onsen and indoor onsen/jacuzzi was an amazing experience for me and my friends because we never experienced the private onsen before. The location is remote and I can imagine that the sky must’ve been amazing, but because of rain we couldn’t enjoy it. These was a washing machine with drying option, which is convenient.

Beautifully designed with local style, comfortable western bed option but with a ryokan feel. My room with the private onsen was the best. Half board of breakfast and dinner included, with surprise meals beginning on the 3rd night of stay. I stayed for a week.

The place is very clean and well equipped. The staffs were friendly and gentle and willing to provide service I needed. It has a parking lot attached to each room to provide total privacy. Also easier to get on the car without being exposed to -15c temp.
It can be a little awkward if you travel with a friend because the place is technically a love hotel, but the room is spacious enough to have have a nice warm rest or a small tea party.
