The owner waited to receive my family arrival. Excellent hospitality. Communication with the Japanese owner not a problem as he could speak good English.
Within the unit, cleanliness in tip-top condition. The living room with a very comfortable sofa, huge dinning table sufficient for 6 pax use, nicely sized shower room, etc. Everything within the unit looks newly furnished and in excellent condition.
Beddings are very comfortable, perfect for good rest. Air conditioning keeping the unit in comfortable temperature. Supermarket and F&B establishments are just a few minutes drive away. Surrounding environment is peaceful and terrific.
This place has been the best my family ever stayed among the many overseas trips our family had.
Owner even popped by to say Good Bye despite our family leaving the unit in early hours in the morning.
Highly recommended.

its very nice and unique hotel. you have to prepare barefoot inside the hotel, they have tatami all around the floor, its nice and clean too. theres free udon at night on 2nd floor, also massage chair and ice cream.

Very close to the station. There’s also a tram stop outside the hotel.
The room’s seating area is nice. Single seater couch and a very sturdy table. Also possibly the thickest comforter/duvet I’ve had so far on this current trip.

Lovely walkable city, not to mention peaceful. Easy to get around by walking and tram. It's a nice break to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo/Osaka.
Indian Hat in Maroot centre for good halal food.
A short train ride to Kanazawa which one requires at least two days there.

Tateyama is a small settlement which is the start of the cable car section of the Alpine crossing. It is picturesque with lovely forest and big rivers running by. The local train to Tateyama is an adventure in itself and the Alpine crossing was an awesome experience in spite of the huge crowds of people. Tateyama had some options for buying food and places to stay. We enjoyed the best near-nature experience of our trip to Japan there. There were apparently bears about so best to make a noise and keep to well used roads.

The highlight of Imizu was the quality of the fish—fresh, delicate, and full of flavor.
Shinminato Uchikawa, with its canals and fishing boats, has a uniquely peaceful atmosphere.
The Amaharashi coast, with views of the sea and Tateyama mountains, is simply unforgettable.
i stayed at Yanafu House, a bright and cozy home with natural design, vintage HiFi audio, and every comfort. Perfect for couples or families.

I could had planned our stay in Toyama for longer period.
I could had planned our stay in Toyama for longer period. With an excellent accommodation Guesthouse KEN, our family able to get properly recharged to visit many other places within and around Tomaya and the region.
Supermarket and many F&B establishments are just a few minutes drive away.
Will surely book this accommodation again in our future trip when my family visit Tomaya again. Value for money stay with unforgettable positive experience.
Tomaya, a peaceful and nice place with many excitement for exploration.

It was a wonderful experience for me since this is my first time to snow mountain , the view at Tateyama Kogen Hotel was really stunning .
When i checked in it was very foggy and the next morning i just couldn't believe my eyes the ALPS peak is just in front of my room window . It was so close to me . It's really beautiful with the sunrise .
Since i went there early 1st May , i can only see the snow wall corridor and the beauty of Kurobe dam . The view is really pretty.
oh if you are planning to drive to Ogizawa , don't worry there are plenty of car park but make sure you arrive early . We park our car at Shinano Omachi and took a bus there as afraid can't find parking due to Golden week holiday , I could have drive up there !

What we liked most was the Yayoi Kusama Museum.
What we liked most was the Yayoi Kusama Museum. However it was closed on Monday, the only day we had during our stay. So we had to change our onward ticket to extend to Tue afternoon so that we can visit the museum on Tue.
