This was our first trip to the beautiful island of Tsushima and our first experience staying in a real Japanese house! The host, Mr. Yuta, was very friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much! The house was spacious, cozy, quiet, and very clean. It had everything you need for a comfortable family vacation. It's located in a small village on the shore of a bay near the airport. The nearest beautiful beaches, Ota and Mohatama, are a 10-minute drive away. The Manzeki Bridge and Himegamiyama Cannon Ruins are also nearby. It was a really nice stay!

It was a great, spacious lodge with everything you could need. Good airconditioning (we went in summer), good bathroom and other facilities also great! It’s a bit out of the way, you definitely need a rental car, but it’s a lovely and quiet location! The sleeping area is Japanese style, just an FYI, but it added to the charm of the lodge. The hostess was a very kind woman who greeted us with information in our native language and a welcome snack. That was really nice.

Those two things made up for any other shortcomings. Overlooks the ocean and there's a lovely walking area/park.

Toyoko Inn Tsushima Izuhara is located in Tsushima, 1.5 miles from Tsushima Tsumugi Funakawa Trace and 4.9 miles from Uchiyama Pass Observation Deck. The location is very convenient. I was pleasantly surprised the staff was able to accommodate us on such short notice. We needed three rooms close to each other and it was accomplished. We also used the handicap parking. Would recommend.

I really loved the tiny cabin and specially the view by the window. You could see the sunrise in the morning and the ships in the sea at night. Truly amazing. Also the host took me to the ferry port the next morning, he was great!

Hotel jin #JIN is a recently renovated apartment in Tsushima near Tsushima Folk History Museum. Relatively a comfortable stay, except laud conversation heard from the cafe below, no back support chair to sit, no breakfast place nearby. It would be nice if the management improved the above-mentioned points, because it is a quite expensive room rate to pay.
