Although my stay was short, I had a pleasant experience, and I would definitely planning to make a second visit with my family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing beachside escape with great service.

Mallis wife Nilu is not only a lovely and perfect host and extraordinary chef, she is an inspiration on how we should treat each other as humans. We thank her so much for everything she did for us and everything we learnt from her about Sri Lanka's culture and Buddhism. Special thanks also to Peter in Germany, who supports the family with the bookings. We highly recommend to spend more time there if you want to experience the real Sri Lanka.

Lake Lane Guest Rest, a property with a garden, is set in Koggala, 14 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium, 15 km from Galle Fort, as well as 15 km from Dutch Church Galle. We loved our stay here. It was so peaceful and the view of the lake is very beautiful. We had lunch and dinner and both meals were amazing! Really good home made rice and curry. We also took the boat to cinnamon island and saw how it was made. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and see Koggola lake and walk to the beach I would highly recommend!
