The town of Al Hoceima is an easy 10 minute drive away. We especially loved sunrises and sunsets from the panoramic terrace.

If you are traveling the Rif, be prepared for some of the most beautiful beaches you'll ever see and some of the freshest seafood you'll ever taste. Also, be prepared to take along several thousand dirhams' worth of cash (at least $300-500) at all times. VERY FEW places in the Rif accept credit cards, even though they may have signs stating that they do accept credit cards. It's Morocco...just go with it. If you are looking to see a part of the Rif that is better-prepared for non-Moroccan tourists, try going farther inland to Chefchaouen.
