I booked this place to be near the airport as the pods in the terminal were too expensive. It was very near terminal 1, just over the pedestrian bridge for the sky train and a block or so away. There was a very welcoming host who showed me in and sorted everything out immediately as soon as I buzzed at the gate. There was comfortable public areas and a functional kitchen. The place was silent at night. The room was clean, modest and functional. The bed was very comfortable. I was only there for a few hours between flights but had a great, well appreciated shower and nap.

I was impressed by the cute room, which was packed with attention to detail, just as you can see in the photos! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. All the amenities were in place, and I had a comfortable stay. I can walk to the airport, but the route recommended by Google Maps can be difficult for those who need to check out when the subway closes. However, Uber arrives quickly, so it's not a problem! So, I can recommend it to anyone who is unsure where to go!

Location and Transport

More than 100,000 passengers pass through Mexico City International Airport – officially known as Benito Juárez Airport – every day, destined for any one of 100 destinations across three continents. It’s located just 3 miles (5 kilometres) from downtown Mexico City, meaning there’s plenty of time for sightseeing if you have a scheduled layover. For getting in and out, numerous Metrobus lines offer round-the-clock transportation to the city centre and other nearby cities. There’s also the Metro as a cheaper alternative, shuttling travellers to and from Terminal Aérea Station along Line 5.

There is so much to do: museums, galleries, good food,...

There is so much to do: museums, galleries, good food, gracious people, great weather in January. Study your travel books. There is no shortage of adventure in Mexico City: Belles Arts, and the Folklorico, the Department of Education murals, the murals in the president's residence, Templo Major, so many cathederals.....and then further out for Kahlo, Trotsky and Diego Rivera, Museo de Arte Popular , Museo National de Anthropologia......and Teotihuacan.

So many museums!

So many museums! Lots of sight seeing, I always got my steps in, walking is the best way to explore this city! If you like coffee, you have to go to 1900 cafe in Roma Norte. Also, give the street food a chance, don't be afraid to try different styles of foods, avoid McDonald's, Ihop, Burger King etc... you must try the Mexican authentic street food!

Great food, wonderful museums and art, easy to walk/Uber. As a single senior female (with no Spanish), I felt safe walking miles from Condesa to main sights as far as the historic district, and never waited longer than 4 minutes for an Uber. Do not let worriers dissuade you. People are friendly and helpful and willing to engage, and as everywhere in Mexico, colorful, musical, artistic surprises await you everywhere.
