The location is perfect. Steps away from shops, restaurants and the beach. (12 minute walk to Walmart) The outdoor pool on the roof was great for a dip. Lovely facilities in the apartment, cold Aircon, hot shower, Netflix on the giant TV, and fully equipped kitchen. A great stay.

Good value for the money. Very quiet and centrally located hostel in Playa. I will for sure choose this hostel for my next trip. Staff really nice and helpful. Specially Cuauhtémoc. Kitchen clean, big and very well stocked. They provided free refill of the drinking cold and hot water, which was great bonus on saving of the money and plastics too. Sundeck terrace with a swimming pool and hammock was great place to relax. They provide yoga clases in the morning. AC is on just at night (maybe 8pm or later), but because of the big fans and only one small window in a female dorm, it was not too hot there during the day.

Perfect location. Just a small walk and you are in the “centre”, the beach, the ferry to Cozumel and the ADO busstation. Enjoyed the pool after a day of activities… Cecile the host is wonderful. She is there just to have a talk or to help you out and show you around the area. You feel very welcome!

Playa is nice, it's quite developed now and busy but it's pleasant and the strip (5th Ave) is lively especially at night - lots of good restaurants etc. However, do your research as there's some fab restaurants just off the main street. Nice vibe, we felt safe enough. We did a week here and then Tulum for a week and felt a week was about right for us.

The restaurant needs better management, Service was terrible most of the guests had to wait almost 2 hours to be served with breakfast. I got tired of that service and started to have breakfast, a better breakfast somewhere else.

If you love the sea, snorkeling and diving this is the right place for you. Fabulous sea world and fun divers brother/sisterhood. The island is also visited by many big cruise ships and that changes the intimate feel of some locations when those ships are inn.

I was only in PDC because wetjest stranded me in Cancun for four days on the way home from South America, and there are very few things I can think of that would have made my stay more pleasant. I am smitten, and will be returning as soon as possible.

What a cool spot!

What a cool spot! We are definitely not the all inclusive resort kind of travelling family. So when we stumbled upon Puerto Adventuras, we were hapily impressed. There was so much to do within walking distance. There is a park, kids camps, beautiful beaches, swimming pools, amazing choice restaurants, and an overall really cool vibe. I liked it because although it felt like - yes this is definitely an international tourist destination - it also felt grounded and down to earth. In addition to the travellers who pass through, many people live and work in Puerto Adventuras giving it a really lovely family neighbourhood feel.

I have been visiting Cozumel for 15 years, for diving.

I have been visiting Cozumel for 15 years, for diving. While the people are friendly and the number of good restaurants has increased over that time, unfortunately the reef has been degraded effecting the diving experience. Its is my contention the powers that control Cozumel care more about making money from cruise ships than the environment, local people or infrastructure of Cozumel.

I wish we had had 4 days outside of travel.

I wish we had had 4 days outside of travel. I think the all inclusive is the way to go. It didn't seem to be set up otherwise and I don't think I would want to fend for every meal in a heavily truist dense area. We stayed right in the middle of the city at the port at Wyndham Alltura Which was a good fit for our price and vibes. It was a lot of younger people and lots of locals from Mexico City vacationing too. I think we ended up at a good spot, but I should have taken a little more time to plan individual activities independant of the tourist attractions. We rented vespas, which was really fun and really dangerous. would recommend for the brave, but just be really carful. The roads are not great and you have to be really alert and comfortable in crazy trafic. We went to the Cenotes and they were perfect! it took up about 1/2 of our day and we took scooters out there. really cool experience and a must if your going to go to this area.

I enjoyed the natural beauty of the areas outside the touristy downtown area. I rented a scooter and drove the entire perimeter of the island (about 2 hours around without stops), but there are a few sightseeing locations, so plan a bit more time. I was there to go scuba diving and it did not disappoint. Once you get out of the touristy areas Cozumel is basically a rundown Caribbean island with not much to offer.
