The Place was so clean, cozy, comfortable, the bed was soooo soft that i’m surprised i slept better than back home. I throughly enjoyed the fact that there was modern and new amenities, the hair dryer was top notch, there was organizer for the draws so my things weren’t all about. it was soooooo close to everything, we felt comfortable enough to walk and tour around for ourselves. close to food stops, cozumel ferry and so much shopping and entertainment. The hosts were responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!!!!

lovely place to stay. with a small pool and beautiful patio to hang out. clean beds and big lockers for your stuff. checkin was a bit surprising, without a person, but they explained everything via whatsapp and always responded super quickly, even at 10PM. we would come back!:)

Great location, the place is clean and best value for your money. What comes to be the best, is the Customer Service from the people working at the place, specially Betty, she is the best.

Staff was really nice, thank you Juan and Jonathan for welcoming me!
Beautiful rooftop with pool
Vibe was nice and quiet, but the hostel was still good to socialise. Perfect if you want to chill/work (good wifi), and meet a few people
Location was perfect: close to the beach and the main street, 15 min walk to a big supermarket, 3 min walk to ADO. but in a quiet street so no loud music or anything at night

The staff was super amazing. I was able to communicate with Andy over whatsapp before, during and after the stay. She gave excellent suggestions and met our every request kindly. I think her helpfulness beats any convenience any other accomodation's amenities. They were able to accommodate last minute addition and removal to our bookings due to flight cancellation. The pool is very cool and nice to lounge ona sunny afternoon. the breakfast is decent.
This is probably the only area in playa del carmen that is near the restaurants, beach and at the same time quiet. Our other airbnb was very loud.

Playa is nice, it's quite developed now and busy but it's pleasant and the strip (5th Ave) is lively especially at night - lots of good restaurants etc. However, do your research as there's some fab restaurants just off the main street. Nice vibe, we felt safe enough. We did a week here and then Tulum for a week and felt a week was about right for us.

The restaurant needs better management, Service was terrible most of the guests had to wait almost 2 hours to be served with breakfast. I got tired of that service and started to have breakfast, a better breakfast somewhere else.

If you love the sea, snorkeling and diving this is the right place for you. Fabulous sea world and fun divers brother/sisterhood.
The island is also visited by many big cruise ships and that changes the intimate feel of some locations when those ships are inn.

I was only in PDC because wetjest stranded me in Cancun for four days on the way home from South America, and there are very few things I can think of that would have made my stay more pleasant. I am smitten, and will be returning as soon as possible.

What a cool spot!
What a cool spot! We are definitely not the all inclusive resort kind of travelling family. So when we stumbled upon Puerto Adventuras, we were hapily impressed. There was so much to do within walking distance. There is a park, kids camps, beautiful beaches, swimming pools, amazing choice restaurants, and an overall really cool vibe.
I liked it because although it felt like - yes this is definitely an international tourist destination - it also felt grounded and down to earth. In addition to the travellers who pass through, many people live and work in Puerto Adventuras giving it a really lovely family neighbourhood feel.

I have been visiting Cozumel for 15 years, for diving.
I have been visiting Cozumel for 15 years, for diving. While the people are friendly and the number of good restaurants has increased over that time, unfortunately the reef has been degraded effecting the diving experience. Its is my contention the powers that control Cozumel care more about making money from cruise ships than the environment, local people or infrastructure of Cozumel.

I wish we had had 4 days outside of travel.
I wish we had had 4 days outside of travel. I think the all inclusive is the way to go. It didn't seem to be set up otherwise and I don't think I would want to fend for every meal in a heavily truist dense area. We stayed right in the middle of the city at the port at Wyndham Alltura Which was a good fit for our price and vibes. It was a lot of younger people and lots of locals from Mexico City vacationing too. I think we ended up at a good spot, but I should have taken a little more time to plan individual activities independant of the tourist attractions. We rented vespas, which was really fun and really dangerous. would recommend for the brave, but just be really carful. The roads are not great and you have to be really alert and comfortable in crazy trafic.
We went to the Cenotes and they were perfect! it took up about 1/2 of our day and we took scooters out there. really cool experience and a must if your going to go to this area.

I enjoyed the natural beauty of the areas outside the touristy downtown area. I rented a scooter and drove the entire perimeter of the island (about 2 hours around without stops), but there are a few sightseeing locations, so plan a bit more time. I was there to go scuba diving and it did not disappoint. Once you get out of the touristy areas Cozumel is basically a rundown Caribbean island with not much to offer.
