Great atmosphere and wonderful food

The location was good and the staff was very freindly

We liked everything about the stay. We made arrangements to arrive early because we had driven from South Africa. The rooms were spotless! The staff was very friendly

The reception team are lovely and super helpful. Whether is showing you where to change cash, eat or grab local transport, they were always willing to help. The breakfast as well was fantastic and I wish they served lunch and dinner too!

Very nice place to stay , room is very clean , location is excellent. Receptionist are very professional and macking check in very fast .all the stuff are very friendly and helpful , Mr.Subhan is very good person .

The Oryx Butique hotel is a true gem in Maputo. I had an excellent stay. The room was modern, spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is just in the center of Maputo. Very safe and cozy.

The room was spacious and clean, staff very friendly, breakfast included and tasty.

Did not take breakfast option as it was too expensive as all we wanted was coffee (which we had in the room) and a light pastry or toast…….went across to Gate Mall. Coffee pods in the room were good. Did use room service and that was fairly quick and well presented and tasty. The reception staff were very good, as were the managers Omar and (sorry forget….Ashraf?). The concierge Fred, was extremely helpful with lots of good advice. So was Pavan who helped us move rooms in the early hours of the morning. Would definitely return here.

The location and view from my room was great. The staff were so helpful and they could speak English

The hotel is very close to the train station and also the central market. The staff was kind and the room was very clean. I saw other travellers complaining the room was small, but I found mine to be a standart size. The double bed was very big and comfortable. The hotel is also a walkable distance from Intercape bus office, so perfect for travellers who continue their journey by bus. Breakfast was tasty and I felt completely safe inside the hotel.

It’s a very good facilitator and worth the price as well.

The hosts Miguel and Martin are good people. They were accommodating and very helpful. I am not fluent in Portuguese, which is the country’s language, but they supported me with most of my needs like getting a taxi, suggesting tourist attractions and ordering food etc. I really enjoyed my stay and I look forward to coming again.
