Wonderful place. We were made to feel very welcome and well looked after. We could have happily stayed longer and cooked for ourself on the bbq. The pool and rooms were immaculate.

It had a great restaurant & pool. The staff also helped us book a private car, with a driver, from Maputo to Tofo. The hotel was fantastic with a nice big tv where we could watch Netflix & relax after a busy day. Very clean & the staff were so friendly. It’s right next to the President of Mozambiques house! It was in a good area & we felt very safe. They also have cameras in the hallways. Very central to everything. Highly recommended!!!

traffic was bad , beach is clean ,water is warm, great food , enjoyed the outdoor cafes fish market was great, variety of fish was awesome. accommodation to suit any pocket . enjoyed the upbeat music . Maputo is a place to let your hair down .

I liked the food, all the restaurants that we went had some very good food. I liked the african clothes, the singing and dance. I was really fascinated by the Indian sea in Maputo, the sea recedes in the mornings and returns at about 2pm in the afternoon, it was really amazing.

I drove to Maputo in a rental car and every mile was a constant fear of being stopped by corrupt police trying to shake me down, or reckless drivers trying smash me for the accident claim. I was twice run off the road by angry bus drivers. And I saw 25 police checkpoints in the 60 mile stretch between Maputo and the boarder. I have driven in 40 different countries and this was the most uncomfortable I have ever been. Upon arrival, I found the streets and sidewalks literally covered in garbage, filth and waste. People openly urinating on downtown streets. The ocean was murky with pollution and the beaches littered with trash. Power outages were intermittent. Tap water was undrinkable (not uncommon in Africa). And restaurant prices were comparable to Western Europe (I.e. overpriced for the questionable quality). If I ever return to Mozambique, I would definitely NOT stay in Maputo. I might consider a better location elsewhere in the country, as long as I am not the one driving.

Radisson Blu Maputo is the best, I really enjoyed my stay. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly, not forgetting the delicious food. A gentleman by the name of Armando who works for the hotel, organised a cake and his colleagues to sing for me on the morning of my birthday, that really made me feel very special. To Armando and colleagues, please keep up the great work. I will definitely come back to Radisson Blu Maputo soon.

Spacious room, clean with good breakfast. We used it on our way to Tofo. We got a very nice upgrade with beautiful view. The last night we used it on our way from tofo to Johannesburg and we had to get up very early: we got a breakfast take away box, very nice! We didn’t go into Maputo so I don’t know how the location is if you wantrouwt stay in Maputo. We used it as a get through Hotel, it is relatively close to the airport.
