Common sitting area is very well made and decor of the room was quite exquisite, food. Service was as well quick.
Staff was friendly, always smiling and welcoming.

We stayed in this lodge one night before our flight back to Kathmandu/Ramechhap. The owner was very helpful; he confirmed our return flight for us after just having sent him a short message.
Also we only briefly mentioned during checkin that it was my boyfriend's birthday the next day; during breakfast he surprised us with a birthday cake with even his name written on it!
Very delicious food and beautiful dining hall. During diner, the staff switched on the heating matresses in our room so when we went to sleep, it was very cozy and warm in our beds!
Definitely would recommend this lodge. Thanks again for the warm welcome and this great end to our vacation!

Legendary Nepali hospitably. Beautiful property, comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms, good quality bed and bedding. The electric blanket, in the absence of heating and the limited availability of hot running water, is a welcome bonus. Very good restaurant.

Provided inclusive breakfast, towels and other amenities which are extremely unusual for trekking lodges in Nepal. Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble

Best lodge on the whole EBC-trail...by far.
Deluxe rooms are great with a hot shower and a welcoming electric blanket.
Breakfast and dinner is great, lot's to choose from. Try the sizzling Yak steak. Great views from the dining room.
But what really made the place. The owner and his personnel. Hospitality with a capital H, so friendly. Traveled to 77 countries, this place was one of the best i have ever stayed.

Aviators must visit Lukla just to experience the very dangerous runway and precision landings. Also, the helicopter trips take you close to Mt. Everest...so that's a huge plus. One must be prepared to walk a lot on mountain tracks

Amazing place, perfect stop of to gather your thoughts and look around the Lukla Airport and watch flights take off and land, plus the helicopters and an array of shops with all sorts for sale to kit out any trip to base camp.. the locals are so nice and friendly and you can get a Sherpa and guide there thus saving you the hassle of dealing with sales reps loitering around the hotels in Kathmandu.. I was solo traveler (and I'm 68) and just went and sorted out my trip on a daily basis... easy and had no one telling me "come on time to go" I did my own thing with me Sherpa, who's name was Danna and his family live in building at "Beauty Shop" in Lukla, so go look him up and he will sort you out ... tell him Irish Dave said ha ha,,
