We very much enjoyed the Nepalese style and atmosphere of the place. The owner is a legend of mountain climbing. Everyone knows him and he knows everyone in Lukla. He was very helpful and efficient in organizing a b plan when our flight to Katmandu was cancelled. There is no other place in Lukla if you want to experience Nepal.

Legendary Nepali hospitably. Beautiful property, comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms, good quality bed and bedding. The electric blanket, in the absence of heating and the limited availability of hot running water, is a welcome bonus. Very good restaurant.

We stayed in this lodge one night before our flight back to Kathmandu/Ramechhap. The owner was very helpful; he confirmed our return flight for us after just having sent him a short message. Also we only briefly mentioned during checkin that it was my boyfriend's birthday the next day; during breakfast he surprised us with a birthday cake with even his name written on it! Very delicious food and beautiful dining hall. During diner, the staff switched on the heating matresses in our room so when we went to sleep, it was very cozy and warm in our beds! Definitely would recommend this lodge. Thanks again for the warm welcome and this great end to our vacation!

On way back from EBC trek, we stayed for 1 night at Namche Terrace. This newly built hotel is an excellent choice to relax and recharge after a long hike. Tenzing is an excellent host, and went out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable. He was helpful to get us a hot shower. We had dinner at the inhouse Diku's Kitchen. The nachos were unbelievably good. All care was taken during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel to all visiting Namche bazar
