The hotel has a very hospitable staff and is managed by nice, helpful manager. They waited for our delayed flight until late at night, unfortunately our plane was eventually returned to Kathmandu while landing in Pokhara. Fortunately, we managed to meet them the next morning. Thank you very much. Apart from that, the room was clean, spacious, perfectly equipped. Beautiful views from the balcony.

Hanging out by the very beautiful Phewa (pron: Pewa) Lake and boating is very pleasant. You can take a taxi to nearby Sarangkot to see the sunrise over the Anapurna Range--if you're lucky; some days the weather is overcast and the tall peaks are hidden, which happened in my first visit five years ago. Otherwise, it's a big shopping and dining mall, with some OK music venues. Of course, if you're into trekking, it's an ideal starting point (so I understand; I'm not a trekker). If not, I'd say a full day or two is enough.

The view of the mountains and lake are lovely.
The view of the mountains and lake are lovely. I loved our hotel roof deck and the friendly staff. We also had several excellent dinners. I expected it to be more charming than it was. The worst part was our boat trip to see the Peace Pagoda. Our boat driver dropped us off and said he’d wait for us for two and a half hours. We came back on time. But he had left and never came back.

Pokhara is a charming and peaceful city, with nice bars, restaurants, and shops. It's much cleaner, than Kathmandu and is a nice relaxing place. The air is also cleaner and more humid. During my stay, the haze blocked the mountain views, but locals told me that the skies are usually clearer in October-November. Also, Pokhara is a starting point for many popular trekking routes, such as ABC, and is very convenient for last-minute trekking plans. For example, I did a 5-day track to Mardi Himal base camp, which was not planned, but a local company helped me to arrange everything and I also bought the missing equipment on the spot. Needless to say, the trekking was a magical experience. Pokhara is worth visiting once in Nepal.

Pokhara suffers from Forest Fires in April/May.
Pokhara suffers from Forest Fires in April/May. The sky is grey and filled with smog. Visibility is very poor and none of the surrounding mountains could be seen. Also the airport remains closed due to these weather conditions. Travel time on road between Kathmandu and Pokhara is almost 8 hours one way due to road projects.
One should travel later in the year when the visibility improves and the airport is open all day.

Got an upgraded room with Balcony which was huge and lovely. Location is great and the garden a bliss in busy Pokhara. One of the first hotels in Nepal where I noticed house plants in the lobby, that is how green it was. Breakfast is ok and has some variety between the days. Food can be ordered to the room as well.
Stayed longer than intended in the end. Did not try out the trekking service (in the lobby with own desk) but it seems very organized.
This is a new property near the Lakeside Pokhara. I first time stayed at this property in Nepal. wonderful experience. The place is relatively new and we'll maintained. The staff is courteous and the complementary breakfast served in their restaurant had very good options.
I would highly recommend this place for stay while visiting Pokhara.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed at during our travels through Nepal. The staff are exceptional, always anticipating our needs and making sure we had the best stay possible. They delivered the customer service that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the spa was lovely.
