The view of the city from the hotel was incredible!!! The foods and buffet at the hotel are really taste good. The room is really nice and clean to stay in while you’re on a trip. It feel lke you’re living at home. Overall, in my opion I think the hotel is really a good place to stay. RECOMMANDED!! 5/5
You can go near the city about 60km to tigers farm to feed and play and go for an elephant ride. The city has nice malls and you must visit the Baiyoke sky Hotel Tower2 for a great view and dinner. And don't miss the temples! The streets are very crowded! On the sidewalk everybody sells something including food with heavy smell!
Bangkok is fantastic city of contrasts. You can see all the colours of the social specter. Amazing night life, street food on every corner, high end expensive buildings right next to falling apart slums. This city definitely is not for everyone, but the one who likes it, would love it. Traffic jams are for me most annoying, but in general transportation for such a big city is very well organized and easy to use. My advice is trying to stay close to BTS when possible. Other than that uber works just fine, or tuk tuks :). But for tuk tuk negotiation about price is mandatory because they will always try to ask for more money. Best way is to ask about realistic prices in a hotel and when negotiating stick to that. For me the biggest impression was food on the street or in markets. You could eat for something around 3 euros. My advice is to eat fresh fruit on the street because it is supe cheap.
Not like most cities that have a strong red light district, Bangkok somehow feels safe and a lot more freindlier. The locals are friendly, the street food is ok if you eat from a good vendor. However there are many local Thai restaurants in the Sukhumvit Soi's that provide excellent food at amazing prices. Very lively and very enjoyable city. There is an abundance of roof top bars and top end restaurants to enjoy plus the plethora of reasonably priced 4/5 star hotels. Brilliant for shopping particularly Central World and Emporium.
Bangkok is a big vibrant city with something to interest everyone. From temples, palaces and museums to beautiful parks, markets and exciting nightlife as well as a plethora of malls. And the people are friendly and helpful.
Bangkok this time was very amiable and pleasant but expensive then otherwise. Post-Covid aftermath was visible in bits and parts. Some major Hotels were closed, Taxis and Tuk-Tuks were charging enormously, tourists were visible but not as much as it usually. City was far less crowded. Traffic jams were there but only in certain parts at certain times. The Skytrain and Metro were comfortable to ride on with less crowding. Its an enjoyable city still albeit the prices, especially the food. Late night activities that Bangkok is famous for is pretty much dead, with some spots being active. The usual spots are advised not to visit because its dangerous. Malls are open and gaining footfalls - not sure how the sales are didn't seem to be brisk. But that didn't dampen the prices. I would still recommend a visit to the country for sometime to come. Hotels can still be got at a bargain, and food you can always find whatever suits your pocket. Rest is all upon your spending power.
After straying at numerous hotels in Bangkok and Thailand in general, this is by far one of the best. The staff are amazing - friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms are very modern with super comfy beds and decor. The location is amazing too, you are right next to the BTS and within walking distance of the malls and great places to eat. The facilities are great with a shared space for you to work, cook and a socialise. I'll definitely be coming back next time I am in Bangkok. Thanks for a great stay!
Near center and famous department store of Bangkok 15 -40 min depends on traffic jam. Good staff available 24 hrs . Clean and Comfortable room. Break Fast available with more of Chinese style. Facilities. Minimalist fitness with great spa. One of the famous spa and Thai massage to truly ease your muscle pain in Thailand. Sincere and Great services. Lovely and great choice to choose when compare to other hotel in Bangkok due to easy to access , less traffic jam than another hotel .
While in Bangkok,I always stay in this hotel because of location and Bumrungrad hospital. But after 2and half years I found that hotels standard and services declined.I is downgraded as 3 star..In the very first day 14 June the bed and linen were used.butas I was very tired and weak I can't sleep well.I am now feeling uncomfortable and fear of hygiene. Seriously understaffed, they don't understand English I Brough this to the notice of hospitality desk verbally..
Was completely surprised hotel was located in a narrow soi (lane). Dark lane but I guess that is to be expected since we arrived after midnight. It kind of look dreary. My friiend and I had a nice seventh floor with a nice view of condos or hotels but nice looking buildings but no major view of city. The workers, bell captain, front desk, restaurant and house-cleaning were friendly, What can you expect for a city of smiles as Bangkok is known.
I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and facilities. You can tell a lot of effort has gone in to make the guest as comfortable as possible. I’ve stayed in similar priced hotels in Thailand before and this is the best. All the staff are friendly and helpful. They’ve got a cafe style restaurant you can order breakfast, food and drinks from.
I really love this hotel and have been going there for many years. it’s really central when you like to hang around in Sukhumvit area. The beds are Marriott quality. the overall price is really affordable. The check in is easy and without pathetic behavior. The aircons are properly placed and quiet. There is nothing more you need in Bangkok than that.
Really nice and comfortable hotel. The service was just perfect, and really unexpected for this price and for Thailand. Everyone speak good English and always available to help. We will definitely keep this hotel in our favorites and book it everytime we come back to Bangkok. The + is the rooftop, not well advertised on booking.com with its pool.
Breakfast is good and there are cuisines changed each day. My daughter and I had lunch at hotel restaurant at reasonable price. I like the delicious Tom Yum! Staffs are friendly and ready to support! They helped me to book a good taxi to airport on last day. I stayed at Ibis in Singapore and liked the service so i again chose Ibis in Bangkok.
Thailand's still locked down because of COVID-19. The hotel was extremely cheap, water was free, and the staff was attentive. There was free, quick wifi, and the air conditioning was cool. There's a bathtub, and NO built-in hot water heater like at most hotels in this price range; a pleasant surprise.
Bangkok
The property was clean and comfortable. The owner is so friendly and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious - the perfect start to a busy Bangkok day! We loved that it felt more local than many major hotels but was in walking distance from the BTS sky train and a major fancy mall!
Great location a few meters away from the Nana and Sukhumvit stations. Great room, incredibly comfortable bed. Big swimming pool, something pretty rare for Bangkok. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Great breakfast. One of the best value for money 5* hotels in Bangkok.
Pathumwan, Bangkok
This is a new, clean and serviced hotel. Super position in Ruamrudee, the best if you have to reach some office in All Seasons Place. The price I pay, thb 650, it makes it a super super deal. Of course, I don't know what is the normal price out of Covid.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Let us also use the pool and showers after check out, when picking up luggage after a hot day in Bangkok. Hotel is kept very clean. Excellent location close to BTS / airport rail link.
It’s located near ICONSIAM where you can technically buy anything and get to anywhere around Bangkok. This place is a little affordable gem among other luxury hotels in this area.
Perfect as always. 04/12. I guess UHG have to issue for me a member card due to my weekly weekends at UHG hotels in Bangkok. :)
We've had 5 hotels in Bangkok and this one had the best price/quality. Staff is very friendly and service is good.
The hotel is nice but I think is not worth the price compared to other hotels in Bangkok at the same rate.
Best hotel I stayed in Bangkok and I stayed in at least 50 hotels
My room in the 46th floor was spacious. The view of Bangkok from its window was spectacular. The gym was tidy. The swimming pool was well-chlorinated. Tours to temples & the like were available in the 18th floor for you to choose from. I wanna go back to Bangkok & stay at Baiyoke Sky again. My 5-day stay in your hotel was worth the money.
The View is the best, thats why we selected this place so far
