Some of the best hotels in Bangkok near Mo Chit Northern Bus Terminal include The Quarter Ladprao by UHG, TD Bangkok and Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok.
You dont need too many days in Bangkok it can be a very intense place, maybe 2-3 to do all your shopping and again prices aren't that great for what you get. but it can be fun visiting the weird back-alley markets. its a must-go once sort of place. I've been 3 times now, but I don't think I would go there again; id go straight to the islands. which are Paradise! Joh Samui is my favorite.
Dont use tok's tok's use cabs to instead Dont hand over credit cards when shopping read screen for details before putting in your pin to pay Air trains called BTS easy to get around Bangkok' There is a train from lower floor of the newer airport to bangkok city linking to BTS AIR TRAIN
I’m not much of a night life person but still decided to visit here. Couple of things that you must do. 1. Go around in public transport instead of cabs (google maps is pretty accurate in this regard). Sky train/metro is a total rip off though. Better to take buses. Even in buses, don’t take the EV/NGV ones. They’re much more expensive than regular AC buses (unless of course you’re going to the airport in which case the regular buses don’t go there) 2. Visit the grand palace. Entrance fee is 500 baht but it’s worth it as it covers the temple, palace grounds, and textile museum. 3. Chatachuk market (it’ll take at least a day). There’s also a mall in the market which had a decent chunk on the second floor dedicated to anime figurines (if you’re into that) 4. Near the market, there’s also a very good park that you can relax in after spending a day in the market. 5. Ratchada night market - good for sightseeing. But better to do your shopping at Chatachuk as it’s way more cheaper for buying stuff. 5. If you’re vegan/vegetarian, I definitely recommend trying out May Kaidee Restaurant (somewhere near Khaosan Road) - it was the only place I found that had very good vegetarian food. There were others but not as good. 6. Siam mall is also decent, has an entire food court floor. 7. If you’re into the night life then Khaosan Road is very good (per recommendation from those who went with me). It was too loud for me and not in the realm of mu tastes) If you don’t enjoy the night life, then a 2-3 day trip to Bangkok is more than sufficient to cover the good parts.
All good except the chaos at airport for immigration - long Qs with near stampede like situation in tight space ! Total lack of concern by the authorities ,unacceptable in a country that thrives on tourisim !!!
Bangkok of course is hot and busy, there is so much to see. Ihad fun on the buses and trains. I didnt get to do too much whie i was there, but i did a river cruise, we paid 900 baht per person for a 2 hour cruise and had a great buffet meal and entertainment. For me it was a bit of a highlight, but as i said i didnt get to do a lot while i was there. I struggle with taxi's there, they refuse to turn on theor metres and of course it cost you more for example one way cost us 206 baht with a meter and coming back we were being charged 300. Its not about the amount as its cheap to vist here, its just about the blatent ripping off of tourists. I love the buildings, they are super cool and interesting, I think its a cool place to visit
There is a direct train line (Red Line train) from Don Mueang (DMK) Airport at THB 33 each to Grand Su main train station, then THB 300 taxi to hotel - far cheaper that a taxi from DMK (circa THB 1,200 quoted by our hotel). To/from Suvarnabhumi (BKK) Airport is a direct link train at THB 36 each to/from Phaya Thai Station. Make sure you go to PHAYA THAI to catch this direct link - if you ask a taxi driver for the main train station you could be taken to Grand Su main train station by mistake - happened to us and needed a quick Metro Blue Line journey to get back to the BKK direct link train.
Hotel is very conveniently located to subway and restaurants. Facilities are comfortable and modern, including the in-house spa on the 10th floor, which is reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and they also speak English. The mattress and pillow were probably the most comfortable of the places I stayed in Bangkok. The rooms have ample lighting and storage space. Also, if the concierge calls you a taxi, they clearly state the price out loud for the driver to hear so they won't overcharge, which happens occasionally.
Amazing location in the center of Bangkok, great transport links nearby that will take you anywhere you need to go. Our bathtub was massive and very comfortable. Nice and comfortable bed as well. property is well-maintained and facilities were impressive. Breakfast was pretty good, different options every day! There is a coffee shop attached to the hotel that does pricey but delicious coffee. The staff were very attentive and overall communication was organised. Would absolutely return!
Don Muang, Bangkok
We used this hostel for a 4 hour layover between our domestic and international flight. It was a much better option than any of the box or capsule hotels in the terminals due to its value for money, sound proofing for a peaceful nap and the facilities (private bathroom, snacks and lots of Bangkok street food to explore). Rather than take the skywalk near exit 6 leading to Amari, take the one near exit 1 and family mart instead for a better walking experience with luggage.
Hotel in good location(if u like local food). Hotel's stuff they're really friendly. My partner leave his phone on taxi, hotel stuff Very helpful... to get he's phone back in 1hrs! Amazing! Also help to book with PCR test kit, arrange taxi pick up from airport(in good price),we both like it! Will be back to stay here when we return to Bangkok!
I have stayed here with family on a number of occasions and it was always good and nothing has changed over the years. Perfectly placed in Bangkok. I would like to have stayed longer but my family were in the north of Thailand with family but this is one of my favourite hotels in Bangkok. The perfect stay with a roof top swimming pool.
Our room definitely exceeded our expectations since we didn't expect it to be as huge, considering the price and location. Also, the hotel is literally in front of the Phayathai train station and beside Bangkok Airport Rail Link so it was super easy to commute anywhere. Highly recommended!
This is a clean, safe, elegant and affordable hotel. People who want the best nights near Huai Kwang must come to this hotel. The staff is super nice. The theme of the hotel is really fashionable to see. This is one of the best hotels in Bangkok with the reasonable price I've ever seen.
Wattana, Bangkok
I highly recommend this hotel, because it is clean, the location is strategic, the price is affordable and the best is the staff who are very helpful to us, friendly, very polite and have a high dedication in the world of hospitality, thank you Dazzle Hotel Bangkok.
Silence, got a good sleep. Room was awesome. Breakfast was good, of course more variety you can get more expensive hotels, but is was enough for us . Good location, short distance to airport rail link and BTS stations. I would say price and quality matches here
Very well located. Close walk to kaosan road (main turistic street in Bangkok), but in a quiet neighborhood. Don't get scared by the roads close-by, we always felt safe and people are nice. Hotel staff is helpful and kind. Rooms are good for the price.
hotel well priced and situated quite close to Nana BTS making it convenient for travel to and from airport and also around Bangkok. pretty close to nightlife and shopping. staff were friendly and pleasant, room basic but good value for price.
Wattana, Bangkok
Close to Nana entertainments :) Friendly staff Didn't see cockroaches in room - this is very good for cheap hotels in Bangkok! Starbucks and good pizza place right near the hotel. Arabic shawarma places are not far away.
I stayed many hotels in Bangkok but this is the best one. The stuff, the food, the swimming pool ,the cleanliness everything makes me happy and surprised. I wish them success in their business.
- Style of room and whole hotel - room was very big - pool and movie night - tourist office inside hotel with good recommendation and prices - very friendly staff - good Restaurants nearby
Stay for 1 night with my officemate. Good hotel near airportlink.
