Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.
Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighbourhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.
To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?
From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the centre of town, Booking.com will help you explore all Bangkok has to offer.
Very lively. A lot of attractions. Can cater for all types of travellers I.e. familly, honeymoon, medical etc. very friendly people. It’s safe. Very good infrastructure and facilities. Very delicious food and varieties of fruits. Cost of living can be affordable for all types of travelers. I always feel I want to come back. I cannot finish to see or travel to all places there are always new places and attraction to explore such Asiatique, Nongnooch garden, Chiangmai mountain and waterfalls tours, elephant riding, night bazaars and markerts, malls, restaurants etc.

Although Bangkok is not as swinging as it was 10 or 15 years ago, as many of the lively bars have been removed and replaced by luxury hotels and condominiums, it is still a nice place to stay for a few days. The Grand Palace, Wad Pho, ChatuChak Market and China Town are still great places to go. A bike ride through Bangkok or a boat trip on the Chao Phraya River is also nice. Having dinner in one of the rooftop restaurants makes a stay in Bangkok complete.

The city that never sleeps. It's safe. It's vibrant.
The city that never sleeps. It's safe. It's vibrant. It's modern. It's an affordable city to travel around, eat, shop, explore. This Kingdom loves their King. Everyone works for their daily bread. The water is clean. The food is safe to eat. During rainy season It only rains for 30 mins & then that's it for the day. You can tolerate the mild heat because there's air-conditioning everywhere.

I have seen Bangkok grow enormously over the past 50 years to a point where the tourist areas are no long enjoyable. The air quality has deteriorated, the transport is dreadful and the Thai people have lost their calm personality .

The people are very nice.
The people are very nice. Many of them struggles to speak in English but they are generally very nice and welcoming. Getting around Bangkok is easy if you are equipped with Google map (to show you ways to get to a place using public transport), Grab and Bolt for transportation. Bolt is a cheaper option but with less coverage and drivers. Learning the train lines and routes are useful to get around.
I definitely should have spent more time for Chatuchak. To shop in comfort but get the same product and price as Chatuchak, go to JJ Mall where you could still bargain the price.
Travelling around with boats and water taxi is highly recommended. My friends and I went to ICONSIAM using boat from Wat Arun. Totally worth the experience.
If you are vegetarian, there are many vegetarian restaurants. Since I'm a muslim, vegetarian is an easier option. Most vegetarian restaurant will ask if you're okay with garlic and onion which makes it convenient for vegetarian Buddhist. There are halal restaurants too if you keep your eyes open wide for the halal signs or the vendor wearing hijab.

nice place to stay but over charging for water parks it's much better to go to Vietnan then Bangkok as everything in Vietnam is better than Bangkok even the water parks the same price for locals and non locals
I love staying at Rezt Bangkok! It's excellent, location-wise! The staff there were friendly and very helpful! Rooms were meticulously clean, and the hotel provided guests with the comfort of home. I forgot my stuff in the room and asked if the hotel could mail it back to me. The Front Office staff was very helpful as he went to the room and searched for the item for me. They kindly mailed it back to me. So grateful! I stay there often when I travel to BKK. Highly recommended!
Loved this hotel. Clean and well thought out rooms. Good design and a nice café plus restaurant (plants, lots of wood and a nice atmosphere). Eastern and western breakfast with a decent selection. Very central but quite location. Super steady and fast wifi. Zoom calls etc. went absolutely smoothly. Very friendly staff. One of my favourite hotels in Bangkok at a very fair price.
Nicely finished, great pool with views, restaurant on site was very nice Mediterranean food albeit a little more pricey than you would typically pay in Bangkok. Easy to get a cab to the airport from here. Staff were very eager to help.
There is a canteen type food court in the retail area with well priced food beneath the hotel - worth popping to.
