Located in Old Bangkok, Prince Palace Hotel is directly above Bo Bae Tower - a wholesale clothing market. Overlooking Mahanak Canal, the hotel offers an outdoor pool and 7 dining options.

The price-value ratio is unbeatable. With the boat, you can get to the best places for shopping or sightseeing in 20 minutes. The clothing market is right next to you. Due to my early check-out, I received my breakfast in a small package upon departure. That was absolutely correct!

FAQs about hotels in Bangkok

Something for Everyone in Bangkok

Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.

Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighbourhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.

To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?

From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the centre of town, Booking.com will help you explore all Bangkok has to offer.

Love the bustle and vibe. More to do than had thought.

Love the bustle and vibe. More to do than had thought. Only stayed a couple of days and wish it had been longer. East to get around with yuk yuk and Grab taxis (traffic heavy though). We were near the Charoen Krung road which is near the river. I recommend a visit to the Jim Thomson house if you like textiles, Vanida for nice food in style, and a canal tour on a long tail boat. Lots of fun. Make sure you are equipped for rain - the downpours can be biblical.

everyone can speak English at the tourist place, and the price is ok. I went to the modern center, there is more expensive and no one speaks English. that's a bit weird to me. And it's hot. the sun is too strong at noon, hard to even walk for 1 minute without AC.

i am not a big city person but for two days i can enjoy a city like Bangkok With the river tour boat you can visit many main city attractions for just a small amount. Infra structure of Bangkok is one of the best. Change only what you need at the airport because they give the lowest rate... Dont buy sim card at the airport they sell it 3 times more expensive Buy your simcard at the 7 Eleven in the city for just 350 bath for unlimited internet for a month Eating is no problem because too many places you can eat even in a 7 Eleven shop. LRT and MRT are fantastic ways to move easy and fast in the city , there is even a new mono rail . Malls are superb in Bangkok you find them all over the city, great places to eat in the Malls... China town is a great place to visit. You can even have a bicycle tour in Bangkok how cool is that.. Long tail boats take you to the klongs and floating markets Dont make use of free taxis and Tuc Tucs they only waist your time. Fresh fruits every where you go. All in all a few days Bangkok are well spend...

Like :I like it that Bangkok has many actrattions ,the food was nice as there are many restaurants, there sell unique clothing, many nice accessories and variety of objects/ necessities , there are many 7-11 shops so there are no worries of buying thing and people over there are quite nice & cautious. Don't like : The weather is extremely hot!!! Need to drink more water but hard to find the toilet outside unless at a shopping mall or big restaurant .Sometimes people will scam you by increasing the price of the thing you want ,so you can be careful and leave or try to reduce the price by asking them.

Grand Palace is nice but expensive.

Grand Palace is nice but expensive. Be aware of scammers at Wat Pho and their connections with Smiling Buddha Temple. Dirty and polluted in comparison with Tokyo, Seoul and Taipei. Eating and getting around by train is convenient and good. Uber is better than taxi. Not a relaxed holiday! Foreigners rip-off at touristy destinations. Much better at Krabi and Chiang Mai and Ayutthaya week-end night market is the best. We visited once and we don't want to go back.

Bangkok is a big city and has the positives and negatives of all mega cities. So much to see and do, but the traffic is a downside. Our Itinerary did not allow us to explore using the underground or sky rail services and that would definitely been worth exploring.
