Bangkok of course is hot and busy, there is so much to see. Ihad fun on the buses and trains. I didnt get to do too much whie i was there, but i did a river cruise, we paid 900 baht per person for a 2 hour cruise and had a great buffet meal and entertainment. For me it was a bit of a highlight, but as i said i didnt get to do a lot while i was there. I struggle with taxi's there, they refuse to turn on theor metres and of course it cost you more for example one way cost us 206 baht with a meter and coming back we were being charged 300. Its not about the amount as its cheap to vist here, its just about the blatent ripping off of tourists. I love the buildings, they are super cool and interesting, I think its a cool place to visit
There is a direct train line (Red Line train) from Don Mueang (DMK) Airport at THB 33 each to Grand Su main train station, then THB 300 taxi to hotel - far cheaper that a taxi from DMK (circa THB 1,200 quoted by our hotel). To/from Suvarnabhumi (BKK) Airport is a direct link train at THB 36 each to/from Phaya Thai Station. Make sure you go to PHAYA THAI to catch this direct link - if you ask a taxi driver for the main train station you could be taken to Grand Su main train station by mistake - happened to us and needed a quick Metro Blue Line journey to get back to the BKK direct link train.
Buzzing city with something for everyone and every budget. Great food, history, culture. Amazing shopping of every level. Free cultural centre. Great budget friendly public transport that's easy to use and lovely people
Cheap hotels, a variety of good food at great prices, many ways to get around (Grab taxi app, tuk tuk, taxi meter), organised , peaceful, lively, very international, lovely locals, clean, and unique. Highly recommended.
Bustling crowded city. The longtail trip from the floating market was fantastic. Ferry rides up and down the river are a pleasant way to spend some time with views of temples and enjoy a cooling breeze from the water. Great Thai massage from experienced, older women
Bangkok is a frenetic hub of activity. There is something for everyone. I stayed just off Sukhumvit Road, on Soi22. I loved the feeling of safety and the freedom to walk around after dark, a female alone. As a budget traveler, I shy away from restaurants, seeking out local street food. However, as delicious as the street food is, I really miss a good steak and a glass of wine, but Western Food and wine will drain my budget very fast. The public transport is cheap and fabulous. I did my homework on the budget accommodation available and the rooms I booked were clean, comfortable and well run. A pleasure to stay in. If I could, I would love to live in Bangkok.
Professional staff, not too much, not too little. The location is convenient for me and there are loads of restaurants, cafes and bars around the area. Bed is reasonably comfy. Sound-proof is better than ohter hotels in the same price range. I never had their breakfast so I can’t say much. My go-to hotel for short stay in Bangkok. For dog owners, this is a dog-friendly hotel! Dog’s bed, bowls, a pack of wet food, water bowl, pee-pad all well prepared in the room. Little dog area at the side of the building is a nice touch.
We stayed here on our last night of a months stay in Thailand, and were looking forward to a bit of luxury before the long flight home. Upon arrival the check in process was smooth and quick, we were quickly into our room. The main reasons we stayed at Hotel Muse were the proximity to the BTS, a new location to stay in and also the décor and atmosphere of the hotel. Overall the staff were polite, rooms comfy and it is a good hotel for the location but there are better hotels in Bangkok for the money you are spending.
yes yes yes to this hotel. Clean, nice staff, helpful staff. For the price and location in bangkok it's well worth! we got the suite i think, where it had the living room (no separate bedroom) but kitchenette with stove top, washer dryer full fridge etc. all for $160 USD. SO MUCH SPACE! gym was great big huge windows in the room great natural lighting we loved this stay so much, highly recommend and we would stay again I believe its a new hotel, as the rooftop is not yet finished and open
Had a very pleasant stay here! Would definitely stay here again when I’m in Bangkok. Location is quiet and not really a tourist area but very close to BTS station so it’s pretty easy to get around. Has a 711 nearby and some street food stalls too. Very clean room as well and towels were replaced after two nights which is reasonable. Staff are also very friendly and booked us a taxi going to the airport. Their hotel dog who seems well taken care of was an added bonus!
Stay there if you wanna listen to loud music all night. Hotels at khaosan road let it be anyone, not worth it. Unless you are a big time drinker and don't give a fuck. You just wanna be an animal. If you are visiting bangkok first time choose to stay somehere else. Just come for one night to visit khaosan road and then leave. If you stay here you are partying every night then. Good luck. Nothing against the hotel. It was not that bad not good either.
A beautiful, creative hotel design inside and out. Very modern, and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious as well as healthy. We travel to Thailand every year and usually stay in Bangkok 3 weeks. This is our 1st time at Siam, and it will be our hotel every year now. Nathan, the manager, is very helpful and accommodating. The whole staff and the hotel are 5 stars.
I have stayed here with family on a number of occasions and it was always good and nothing has changed over the years. Perfectly placed in Bangkok. I would like to have stayed longer but my family were in the north of Thailand with family but this is one of my favourite hotels in Bangkok. The perfect stay with a roof top swimming pool.
- very nice pool - interiors are very classy and white - its the most trendiest hotel of bangkok - close to central embassy, the new luxury mall in Thailand - very good classy restaurants with good prices for fine dining, very good food - staff is very very polite and very welcoming.
It's a pretty good priced hotel. The location is excellent if you wish to visit Bangkoks 'Chinatown', and the hotel is a 3 minute walk from Hua Lampong MRT station. Staff is very friendly. The breakfast was pretty good too, good selection of primarily western style food.
Excellent choice at breakfast and plenty of it.. This hotel is how all hotels should be. With character. Real wood and Real marble. A touch of history about it. I highly recommend a stay here. At the price charged it is a great deal. Great access from airport from both airports.
The place is near the Pratunam Market. It's on your doorstep when you go out the hotel. There's a near canteens, post office and lot of dress store and souvenirs in the area. The staff can speak english and is kind. I will be back soon.
Basic, clean hotel with complete and comfortable installations and friendly, attentive front office staff. Very affordable, extremely good quality price ratio. Only a 7 min drive from airport for about 200 baht (6-7 USD).
I stayed many hotels in Bangkok but this is the best one. The stuff, the food, the swimming pool ,the cleanliness everything makes me happy and surprised. I wish them success in their business.
There are very few boutique hotels in Bangkok now. Kasayapi has a super friendly owner with exceptional service. The location is unique, not far from the place for typical sightseeing areas.
Stay for 1 night with my officemate. Good hotel near airportlink.
