It's very close to the airport, probably 5-15 mins walk, and that's because we have 2 senior citizens with us
Toilet and shower were separated
There are several stores and stalls outside so eating outside is not a problem at all.
They offer free wifi, I didn't use it, but my other family members did

this is a very nice city and very clean ...................
this is a very nice city and very clean ...................but before you get to the city you have to get past the SCAMMERS at the airport taxi system that refuse to use a taxi meter.
we were told by a very rude dispatcher that all the roads were blocked and it was a 1.5 hour drive to the hotel and he could only get within 500 meters of the hotel , thus it would cost 700 peso ..........200 meters later the driver said he could get to the hotel if we paid 1000 peso
the trip took 34 min and NO roads were blocked
we then learnt that the normal fare is about 200 peso
so we like iloilo but left the very next day due to being scammed as we did no longer feel safe there

very accommodating city, nice people and it is a heart...
very accommodating city, nice people and it is a heart captivating for people that visiting it for the the first time.
traveling is easy with much variety of options between public and private, and if you can handle driving, you can rent your own, which is all affordable.
Places to visit here are a lot, free places which will blow your mind, just prepare your itinerary well as you need to manage your time to accommodate all places.

Iloilo was easy to move around, Grab was easily available...
Iloilo was easy to move around, Grab was easily available but the best was the service provided at Civil Registry Office. It was so easy to conduct business in the Birth Division. Everything was straightforward.
Only drawback were the long lines at the elevator. I used the stairs to the 5th floor because I was impatient to wait
