Easy access from the airport took less than 20 mins drive, rooms were big enough for one comfortable and quite environment. Clean and the staff was extremely helpful, I recommend for anyone wants a short stay or having transit from the airport. Cant wait to come back again. 🫶🫶🫶

We loved this place! Very conveniently located for the airport, extremely comfortable and spacious apartment with all the facilities you could want. The family cooked a delicious dinner for us and brought it up to the apartment. The host Babacar is extremely helpful and communicated really well both before and during our stay, he also made arrangements for two separate airport transfers and everything went smoothly with that too. Highly recommend if you need to stay near the airport in Dakar.

I'm a business owner; I know keeping up with a demanding career like hospitality isn't for the negligent. People pay attention to details—rooms are clean. I tried the local dish, Thieboudienne (a bit like the Jollof rice), and they made it so well. Modou, the driver, is very kind-hearted and available when you need him(his vehicle is neat, too 😀). The DSS Airport is in a developing outskirts and if you want a place close by, considering that it is not downtown Dakar, the place is cool! Overall, I think the crew at Poponguine is passionate about what they do, and it's obvious.

Guéréo itself is a small village without any particular interest. Its main advantage is the vicinity of the lagoon, the mangroves and the nice beach of La Somone. Luxury accomodation in the Manguiers de Guéréo lodge available.

I like that the place was clean for the most part minus the little black flying bugs in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable.
I didn't like all the many flights of stairs you have to go up. We had to make 3 trips with 4 guys helping up carry all our luggage. They really could use a elevator..
I also didn't like that the bumpy dirt road you had to drive in thru a small narrow city to get there was ridiculously long. We had to pay someone to take us to the because the maps want and Google couldn't find it. Took us 2 hrs to find someone and then the locals only knew the back off road way to get there.. definitely an experience.
