This gorgeous house felt so homely to us for our stay in Príncipe. Salamão transported us to and from the airport, and helped us organise to rent a motorbike to explore Principe. He also organised a lovely breakfast for us (with some of the tastiest pineapples and fruits I have ever eaten) and he gave us great advice on where to explore in the island. With a motorbike we were only a few minutes away from the main town, and the accommodation is situated well to explore other parts of the islands (like the beautiful beaches). We were kicking ourselves that we only stayed 2 days in Principe and wish we stayed longer. Casas Salomão felt like home to us straight away!

Despite not expecting to be picked up I was collected from the airport which was great. I also got to meet lots of the locals too who are so friendly, no tourist trap here, just great people and thanks to Maria for all her help as my Portuguese is limited to hello and thank you!

Central, clean, and easy to find. The manager and staff were very polite and helpful.
As a suggestion for breakfast, it would be great to have a small written menu to choose from. Also, offering some local coffee and cacao would add a lovely touch to the experience.

Nate found me an excellent local guide for a full day tour including a hike to Pee-Pee waterfall. Residencial Mira Rio is an excellent value for money. I loved fantastic, authentic atmosphere.

It’s worth a longish walk out of town to this little corner of paradise, a river runs though the garden so you can birdwatch from your private balcony.I loved Anita, the housekeeper , genuinely caring and also proactive .The tiny house is very nicely designed and decorated and has great fittings: tv, air con ,mini kitchen, fridge! Feels luxe !

Super nice little property in the city of Santo António. Carlos’s reception and assistance in arranging a motorcycle was amazing. Breakfast was varied every day with fresh fruit, juices, eggs, bacon was a lovely start to every morning. Carlos arranged a beautiful crab appetizer during the football match and we opted for dinner at the property twice which was delicious and filling both nights. Super grateful! obrigada por tudo!

The property is beautiful, breakfast and dinner are excellent, and the excursions are great. Wear long pants and sleeves and lots of insect repellant for any forest walks.

The city is very small, and the best option is to do a boat trip around the island and rent a car. Check around for prices because they vary a lot. There are no good markets in the city, and you should expect to pay a lot for basic items.
