Staff were super friendly and picked us up from the airport at a very reasonable price. They also helped us get a taxi into the city the following day.

I highly recommend this hotel as an ideal place to stay for early morning flights from Surat Thani Airport. The person who welcomed us at the hotel was extremely friendly and made sure we had dinner so we wouldn't go to bed hungry. Additionally, they unexpectedly prepared some great takeaway snacks for our breakfast :) We are very grateful for that - it was really very kind. The hotel is located on the main street, but at night it is quiet enough to sleep peacefully without being disturbed by street noise. Highly recommended!

Spacious, comfy, clean rooms very close to the airport. This place is perfect if you have an early flight. Book your transfer here rather than a taxi, it is more convenient.
The owner was very kind, she organised airport transfer really early in the morning and brought me breakfast in the room before departure at 5.30 am! Thank you!

If you’re looking for a place to stay before your flight from Surat Thani it’s a perfect spot. Still close to the main road but quiet and peaceful.
The owner is so helpful and friendly and she can give a lift to the airport for 100b.
When about the room: this is fully equipped and renovated room. With strong air conditioner and hot water in the shower.
There is a place to put your things in the toilet under the shows which is so rare here in Thailand. In the room you have a bed shelf and a desk.

Location and Transport
Surat Thani Airport is an important link to southern Thailand and islands such as Koh Samui and Koh Pha Ngan. Located in the Phunphin District, 13 miles (21 kilometres) west of central Surat Thani, the airport is linked to the city by a regular shuttle bus service. The Phantip Travel shuttle departs for downtown Surat after every arriving flight, and charges THB 100 per person (you must buy tickets before boarding). Alternatively, a taxi costs around THB 800–100, with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes.

We loved our stay at Aiem-Wilai Guesthouse! Everything was seamless, from checking-in, ordering the most delicious home cooked dinners by the host. They even offered to pick us up and drive us to Surat Thani Airport. We defo recommend the Congee for breakfast, one of our favourite breakfasts in Thailand.
