Fatima, Luiza and Natalia on the front desk were every day very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was good. Swimming pool was good for laps. Location was easy access from airport and to down town.

United StatesStaff was very friendly. Good location. Loved they had some vegan options on the menu. Also I was so tired when I got here, I had left my phone in their restaurant. When I realized I was missing it, I went outside and the lady from restaurant was already bringing it to me.
Ac works great and the shower water gets extremely hot.

We were just passing through Dili this time, en route to...
We were just passing through Dili this time, en route to Atauro island for snorkeling, almost everything went smoothly and easily.
At the airport, the need to queue separately for a visa on arrival meanyt that, even with no check-in baggage, we ended up at the back of all entry queues, including the very-slow baggage x-ray step - hopefully this can improve in future.
Mana restaurant by the Sunset Inn has a great selection, well work booking.

Dili is a very friendly city.
Dili is a very friendly city. Locals always smile & say hello (bondia, botarde or bonoiti), they are eager to assist you in any way. The microlet transport system is excellent for getting around the city or plenty of taxis. There are numerous interesting sites to visit both cultural & historic. Tourist numbers are low but growing. Now is the time to visit before the inundation of people. Eating in the local restaurants' is enjoyable, street food is very good & inexpensive. There are 3 / 4 star properties if they are your preference. Tours are available with car & drive to travel to other areas. I hired a motorbike and travel independently to the districts without any issues, though the roads at time can be rough. accommodation in the districts is usually guest house style but generally good. Timor Leste is a country where you immerse yourself within the local culture with ease.
