Mr Tom is an amazing person and host for us who always help us very kind person... he told us local transportation, help us with many different things even took care of the noise while I was wokring there
His apartment is best apartment has kitchen also with full of utensils the wifi speed is amazing more than 100 mbps so I could work remotely without any problems
He made our stay really comfy and enjoyable.

Balibo Fort Hotel is a truly unique travel experience, the quality of stay was like nothing else we experienced in Timor Leste. The rooms themselves are modern, very clean and wonderfully decorated, whilst being surrounded by elements of the fort. The pool was an absolute highlight, with wonderful views of the local mountain ranges. The food was excellent, and there is a huge breakfast. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, it was so lovely to see so many young people getting experience in hospitality.
The hotel is in very close proximity to the Australian Flag House/Museum, and there is a wonderfully kept museum onsite at the entrance gateway, with a broader focus on Timor Leste's history.

Great location, theirs a shopping centre below with about 20 shops. Four small supermarkets and a dozen food places. The rice and bowl is the perfect place for a morning coffee, maybe the best coffee I have ever had.
The rooms are fine and the staff are great, always will to help with anything. Very clean and large rooms.

Staff were amazing. Very helpful with directions, advice and pick up and drop off were both free of charge. Fatima, Luiza and Natalia on the front desk were every day very helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was good. Swimming pool was good for laps. Location was easy access from airport and to down town.
