Like everything! Friendly staff in all areas we encountered from the Front desk, housecleaning & breakfast, great job! We had a smooth checkin and out. Coffee available anytime, plus Lemon water:) Lots of breakfast choices and plenty of food. Good location for visiting Smithville Village & Renault Winery plus shopping centers were a short drive away. Comfortable bed, loved the clean white linens & towels. Spacious clean bathroom with large vanity and glass walk-in shower. Microwave & small Refrigerator were a hugh plus!! Would definitely stay here again:))

They need to make better selections for breakfast. But for the must part . I was surprised when I opened the room door to see that the room was really nice. Everything in the room was clean,the beds were big and soft , bathroom was nice . The price was rite. I will visit again. Keep up the good work Owner.

Absecon, is a very nice place.
Absecon, is a very nice place. Close beaches within 5 to 7 miles Atlantic City and Brigantine. I went to brigantine beach. I have been there many times before. Only rained first night, and a bit one other day, I ate at The Crab Shack, delicious crab cakes filled with crab not bread or other filling. If you do not want to eat in the restaurant part, they have picnic tables so you can pick up your order and eat outside. They also sell seafood, uncooked.

I am going to write google reviews as well because this has been my worst stay by far! First we get a room that smelled so bad as if the previous host were smoking. Then we switch rooms and I get a room with out a pull out bed, I had to sleep in the floor. I paid $380 to sleep in a dirty floor? The room also smelled terribly. Next morning No hot shower! Then we go to the pool and now they inform us that the pool is closed for maintenance. They re open the pool at our check out time. I want my money back!

The hotel really didn’t have “it” together. Yes there were appliances but no pots and pans, utensils, glasses. The toilet paper was thinner than tissue paper. The furniture was well used and uncomfortable. The floor was sandy. There was no coffee maker in the room. When we asked for one we got it but they had no coffee or cups to go with it. Yes they had coffee at breakfast but it really was more like water. The breakfast was only packaged food except for fruit. This property also has permanent residents living there.

Galloway is full of breakfast places and motels. It isn't mainly a destination; most people staying there will be travelling to Atlantic City or Cape May, where prices are much higher, especially on weekends.

Walking around the Village of Smithville and browsing in all the shops was very nice and relaxing. There are 3 State parks close by with walking trails or to go bird watching. We had a wonderful dinner at the Smithville Inn the food was great the prices reasonable the atmosphere was great.
Had breakfast at the Village Bakery the food was great and reasonable. Many baked goods to eat or bring home. There is really nothing that I would avoid the next time I visit.

During our trip we enjoyed the dining experience inside and out. Wait staff was very accommodating especially Megan and Kristy. The views around the property was nice.
The only issue we had was our request fir bed sheets and towels. We were given table cloth instead. Once I asked about the mix up we were promptly given new sheets. For the amount of money we were charged under no circumstances should this ever happen. From there, the trip left a sour taste in our mouths. They definitely need to correct that house keeping gaffe.

The location was alright. The view from the room was nice. What we didn’t like was the building and facilities were too old and needed to be updated. We had to change our rooms twice. The first time due to cleanliness and the second, the air conditioner was broken and the room was much too hot in which to sleep.

The Thursday night prime ribs at the High Point restaurant were good. The subs at Vic's Sub Shop were outstanding. Galloway has some interesting attractions if you are interested in the casinos in Atlantic City, the shops in Smithville, plus nearby attractions for families.
