Coffee & tea were easily accessible, eggs & sausage were fine, good selection of bagels, English muffins, and biscuits. Would have liked orange juice, but the rest of it was very nice.

We loved our visit to Warrenton and surrounding area.
We loved our visit to Warrenton and surrounding area. There is so much to see and do. It is located between Fort Stevens and Astoria, so you have the experience of the city and the coast. The batteries at Fort Stevens, as well as the historical center, should not be missed. Fort Clatsop provides info and demos of how Lewis & Clark survived the winter there. There's lots of beach, including the shipwrecked Peter Iredale. There are a lot of stores for shopping and, of course, a Dairy Queen for blizzards!

Unfortunately, coming in late October, in a driving rain and wind storm, we couldn't enjoy all that Astoria had to offer. We did enjoy all the small shops in the market area, but the place has so much to do, for everyone. Definitely needed more time to explore all the adventures this place has to offer.

Gearhart is less commercial and less busier than other coastal towns, with a relaxed vibe and quiet. That said, this town is super close to restaurants and services in Seaside and the art galleries of Cannon Beach. I was able to visit and enjoy all three towns and enjoy the amenities of all of them without having to do a lot of driving. I ate at Nonnies for Italian dinner one night (Seaside) and yum. I enjoyed the Dragonfire Gallery in Cannon Beach on another day. My favorite was walking the clean deserted beach at Gearhart where I had nature all to myself.

Astoria is a unique town in a unique location.
Astoria is a unique town in a unique location. I love the architecture of many of the homes in Astoria and the way they are arrayed along hilly streets. The town is fairly compact so attractions are never a long drive away. Ships coming in from the sea to go up the Columbia river or returning to the sea lend interest as you drive or walk around the city. Astoria remains one of my favorite cities in the Pacific Northwest!

The location was fabulous, just a short (15 min.) trip to either Astoria or Seaside. Loads of restaurants for those who choose not to cook. We were a little disappointed that there were not more beach access points.

We always love coming to Seaside For the sound of the ocean, the walks on the sand, looking for sand dollars and the shops and restaurants. We love Doogers for seafood and Nonni’s for authentic Italian. We also sat on the beach at nearby Cannon Beach to view Haystack Rock.

Astoria is a fun place!
Astoria is a fun place! My husband and I loved the Maritime museum and the fun shops. We had a delicious lunch at MO’s and an amazing dinner at the Silver Salmon Grill. Sadly we didn’t have time to visit any of the art galleries. We will return.

We enjoyed the location of Seaside to the beach and nearby scenic drive. It's a cute beach town with numerous shops and some excellent dining in the area.
Being from the Gulf Coast, the beach was not impressive but it is just a short drive to Cannon Beach which is worth seeing.
The locals were friendly and it was an easy town to get around whether by walking or driving.
