We were four friends attending Oshkosh Airshow.

We were four friends attending Oshkosh Airshow. Location is 20 minutes from Airshow an easy drive. If you have 8 people this would be a reasonable price, with just the four of us,it was a bit high per nite. House would be perfect for a four couple get together. Does sleep 8. Very clean, lots of towels, laundry was a useful. jacuzzi tub very nice. Well appointed furnished like a show home. Upstairs got very hot, there is a ceiling fan in one room; We bought a fan to use in second bedroom. Central air conditioning great on first flood but does not get to second floor effectively. Beautiful kitchen, but not enough dishes for eight people when we arrived. The management are very responsive on call 24/7 for any issues. Refrigerator was whining called and maintenance man came within the hour and fixed it! We enjoyed our stay. Found a great Mexican restaurant within a mile. Easy freeway access, close to Appleton airport, Costco 4 miles away for provisions.

Appelton is a great location for the fine arts building and...

Appelton is a great location for the fine arts building and the many bars and restaurants that are on College Avenue. There’s always something going on. A very diverse culture everyone seems to always be having a great time. There’s always a band playing at one of the bars we Uber ride everywhere and park at our hotel. It’s just a fun city lots of great food.

Pleasant, walkable, town, in the Fox Valley, on the shore of Lake Winnebago. Nightlife somewhat lacking, but great food in town or in the several towns surrounding the city (The Weathervane, Butch's Pizza, MiHm's Hamburgers, Pete's Garage Bar, The Chalice, etc.), plus great Friday night fish fries, at various bars and restaurants. The river and lake provide lots of opportunities for sailing, wind surfing or fishing (sturgeon ice fishing in winter). A local PAC provides concerts and Broadway productions. Well maintained parks. Several museums provide information about the area, including exhibits on Harry Houdini. Good shopping opportunities, in a thriving downtown.. Midwest nice vibe. Usually easy to get around, with adequate parking, except for those damn roundabouts!

Staff was very polite and helpful! The Breakfast was great and my room was very clean and comfortable!! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone! The price was just right!! Easy access to highway and shopping was close by!

The facility appears beautiful. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was good. Our room was obviously not cleaned and was filthy! Orange in fridge, fridge turned off and pool of water at bottom, the microwave did not heat anything-even after 10 minutes, pull out couch full of crumbs, a toothbrush under, a stick of gum under it and a small rubber band for hair or braces also on the floor. Bathroom wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been as well! Due to traveling with an elderly person and also a disabled person we were not able to pick up and change rooms. And at that point how could we trust the other room to be any cleaner? The orange and water in fridge we could have handled it all the other uncleaned areas. Manager-not available again not when I called back and now phone just rings no answer. And my note in booking.com on the reservation also went without anyone reaching out.

Grew up in Appleton nice to visit family and see how it has changed since I left. New restaurants, PAC, places to see and visit. Great cheese factory in Little Chute area and if you like good candy Wilmar's should be a place to visit.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I really liked the set up for the hotel. I travel with my service dog and potty breaks were so easy. We just stepped out of our room and walked a short way to go potty. Very convenient.

We happened to be there the day Octoberfest was being...

We happened to be there the day Octoberfest was being celebrated. This made getting around the downtown area difficult. We were in town for a Celebration of Life for a friend so we drove in, stayed the night, attended the service and headed back to MN. We did not get to sample the city of Appleton at all.

Thanks again for the one night stay. Our kids ALWAYS pick Neenah “with the red slide” because it’s memorable to them. We’ve been coming here for 7 years and our family just loves it. Always accommodating and clean. This last stay was very busy, even with COVID restrictions. Big High FIVE to the staff and their cleaning expertise. There was a birthday party who made a mess and we felt the staffs pain. But the next morning the arcade room was a 10 spot clean. Great work team! Hope to be back again in 2021 summer!
