Was not as polished and clean/shiny as most Sleep Inns are. But it was convenient, check in was quick, and parking was close. Would recommend for a quick overnight stay while traveling, but don't expect the 'extras' at this Sleep Inn.

24h coffee and it was Lavazza! 24h access to a little market. Water filter and the HVAC was NOT noise! I appreciate the style and color choice of the lobby with very nice couches and lamps. Nice touch in the room too! Very European!

It's a very scenic, beautiful area. The people are all very friendly. The country roads are beautiful too drive around on. The Skyline Lodge is a great place to stay while in Ghent. There are plenty of things and places very close by to see and do.

Only stayed there because it was close to the venue we were going to. That was the only positive thing I can say about the hotel.
It is dated and dirty and didn’t have the queen beds that I booked online.
Would never stay there again.

I was just passing thru on my way back home from seeing my...
I was just passing thru on my way back home from seeing my son at Fort Bragg. We drove roughly 1600 miles to take my son his car and had dinner with him and headed back home. All we needed was somewhere to sleep a bit and head back out on the road. Didn’t realize it was gonna cost us over $250 for maybe 9 hours at most.

Plenty of good hotels, food options, and shopping experiences. The New River Gorge Visitor Center was great. A walk around Little Beaver State Park was also great.
What wasn't so great:
The New River Gorge Visitor Center was great, but I found the rest of the spots on their park map to be difficult, if not impossible, to find.
Marquee Cinemas, Galleria 14, Beckley, WV was OK, The movies are current but what bothered me was the ticket purchase process for new visitors. All the ticket purchasing areas were "closed". Somehow, we were supposed to figure out that we could buy movie tickets at the concession stand, which is something that I've never heard of or experienced before.
Dunloup Falls was impressive but we arrived there (after a long drive through the countryside) to find some locals fishing in the pool where I wanted to swim. I didn't feel comfortable asking them to stop the fishing.

When checking in I was told the room I booked was no longer available and I would have to take a lesser room. I was stuck in a room across the hall from the front desk and it was pretty noisy until late into the evening. When I tried to connect to the Wifi it did not work. Management was unable to do anything about it. Breakfast, which was advertised as provided, consisted of some snack cakes, instant oatmeal or cold cereal. Not my idea of a breakfast at all. I would be extremely hesitant to stay in this facility again.
