Very easy access right off the highway a very good location to visit San Francisco in the Sausalito area and north of there we went to the woods to Muir Woods and went to Stinson Beach and a couple others. It was beautiful. The hotel is very quiet and you’re pretty much left alone. Unless you need something we appreciated the staff and their attentiveness towards us.

This hotel is directly across from two shopping centers, which include family style restaurants. Aslo a movie theater and a Chick fil A. Lots of stores and if summer the family fun “Water World”. The hotel has a comfortable lobby that has a cocktail bar and a restaurant inside (didn’t test it out). There was a hot tub and swimming pool open until 10:00pm. The Pillows and beds were super comfortable and soft. Excellent concierge and welcoming staff members

I did not really venture into the city of Concord as I was just going to a concert. Saw Pierce the Veil at the Toyota Pavillion. I would recommend the venue if you just want to sit. There is not much room to move around on level ground and the stage is down at the bottom of a slope. I enjoyed the concert, but could have been better if I was able to stay until the end. I would recommend taking at least 1 friend so you won't be alone.

The TV remote did not work so I exchange it with another...
The TV remote did not work so I exchange it with another from the front desk but that did not solve the problem. My husband had to unplug all that was in the back of the TV before the remote would work to change the channels.
Hamburger International was open until 3am was a big plus. They were just down the street.

I spent three very comfortable days and nights staying at this Super 8 motel in Martinez, CA. Everything was excellent; I was very pleased with my accommodations. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was quite comfortable, and the ADA-compliant safety bars were perfect, both by the commode and inside the shower. The housekeeper and manager were very courteous and polite and very responsive to my needs for fresh linens, and the manager quickly restored my television channel when the cable went out. I will definitely plan on staying at this lovely gem of a motel on my next visit to Martinez. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had heating problems in our two bedroom suite. They changed us to another suite with the same heating problems. We canceled our stay and went home. They did not want to work with me regarding a refund because I booked the stay through Booking.com.

I was born and raised in Martinez, so I am very familiar with what Concord has to offer. It was like coming home again. The Concord Plaza Hotel is close to everything anyone could ever want, so the location is ideal for travelers and newcomers to the area.

Every business we visited was really great and everyone was very warm and friendly. The food hall has something for any cuisine choice- Souly Vegan was the best! Del Ciello Brewing had great live music and the best empanadas I've ever eaten. Great waterfront park to walk, and a historic wooden bridge. We visited the John Muir House and gardens, such a great site and free!

This is a motel with helpful staff. Nothing out of the ordinary. That said it was clean and bed was comfortable enough for a one or two night stay. They do have a swimming pool which in this hot weather would be nice, if you have time to rest at the hotel but my trip was family business and I was in and out. The manager was accommodating due to family needs and for that I am thankful.

Concord is a peaceful area.
Concord is a peaceful area. Depending on the area that you visit. Some places have a lot of traffic. I've visited here a lot for different things. Great for dinner dates. Great for just going to the restaurants. Concord is the main city I take my family to. They also have the Sun valley Mall that has two stories my kids enjoyed that. They have a few nice hotels. Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek is a nice area as well

Our room was a very nice size, clean and comfortable beds. Great price for location. Room had iron and hair dryer, coffee maker and small refrigerator, no microwave. There was several nice places in walking distance to eat and get coffee drinks. If I'm in need of a room in this area I'll definitely stay here again.
